Boss Stage: MCX-4: "Craft, Unveil, Command"
Mylnar grunted from the Warden's attack, his Art's dimming numerous times. Flickering randomly as his vision even started to fail him.
Every time it would dim, his vision would be covered in darkness, where he could only see a few feet away and his instincts would take over during those moments.
Thankfully, his other senses, like touch, smell, and hearing were not affected by this strange darkness. A darkness he knew came from the Creature that the boss of this operation summoned.
The Doctor's intel about their mission seemed woefully insufficient in light of these revelations. Mlynar recalled the briefing: a simple anomaly near a Kazimierzian village that needed to be investigated. How had it escalated to this madness?
Maybe the Doctor needed more sanity potions these days, he didn't get enough sleep if he remembered correctly.
He gave a small glance towards the boss, and found that the Boss's body mutated, his body had some sort of horns at The side of his head, glowing faintly in the dark as he could faintly see a part of the boss, his heart if he had to guess, turn purple.
And he was a child too.
The boy's origins were a mystery. His blocky summons and lack of common Terran traits were strikingly anomalous, even among the unusual Operators of Rhodes Island.
Aegirian? Perhaps, at first glance. But there were none of the definitive signs associated with those from beneath the sea, or one's from Higashi.
But No Aegirian held summoning abilities that spanned the nature of these 'blocky' creatures.
Still, the child reminded him of a particularly strange team within the Rhodes Island Landship.
Team Rainbow, was it? They'd always been eccentric, prone to questioning the rules of Terra's Common knowledge with their curious weapons and expertise. Especially with Engineering.
But This boy seemed to take it to an entirely different level.
That all changed when those Creatures came out of the Holes in the wall, the Doctor said that they were going to fight against 93 enemies in this operation, and...
There were Zombies, he was familiar with them, Columbian movies really liked them for some reason, as well as making very idiotic decisions that ended disastrously.
They had green skin, light blue shirt and dark blue pants as they raised their hands towards them like those cliche movies.
And then those 'Iron Golems', as the Doctor told them, came out, far more studier than their zombie allies.
And then those green creatures came, at first, they approached with caution, no one was new to this sort of thing.
Mountain punched one them....and it blew up, which took his right arm, thankfully they brought a healer with them, Whisperain, the Aegir medic quickly rushed to the Large feline's side to heal him.
They were then dubbed creepers by the Doctor.
And then more and more mobs came, some were large flying heads that would periodically shoot fireballs from their mouth's.
Ghasts, the Doctor told them.
Large, floating heads appeared, grotesque and white, their anguished cries echoing across the arena. With a shriek, the Ghasts spewed fireballs, each shot leaving trails of smoke in its wake.
Beside him, SilverAsh slashed forward, his Cold Arts cleaving through several of the lesser mobs.
The air crackled as jagged streaks of frost launched from his blade, freezing portions of the Warden's minions solid, which made it try to free itself.
