BABY ?

Hoseok stood in his room, looking out the window. What he really wanted to do was go down to the lake and play with the dogs, but he couldn't. He was already on his way when he heard a servant say master Jungkook was at the lake.
Jungkook was usually with the dogs, so he just decided to stay in his room.

If he was being honest, he really missed Jungkook. He was really nice to him when he first got here, and now it was weird that he hadn't seen or spoken to him in a while.

Every time he spoke to Taehyung and asked about Jungkook, Tae would assure him that Jungkook was not mad at him and just overreacted. After the incident that day, it took him a while to realise who Jungkook was talking about.

He had no idea who Danny was when he met him, and he honestly didn't say anything exactly. Danny had made assumptions, and Hoseok had left because the conversation seemed uncomfortable.

He sighed as he sat back in his bed.
He also missed the dogs.

'Ah!' Hoseok screamed and buried his face in Tae's neck, making the older man look down at him with a smirk, 'Are you scared, baby?' He asked, and Hoseok nodded.

Taehyung sighed and turned back to the movie, 'Why did you want to watch a horror movie then?'.
'I wanted to be brave,' Hoseok whispered with his face still in the man's neck, and Taehyung laughed.

After a few seconds, Hoseok noticed he couldn't hear the familiar horror sounds. When he looked up, Taehyung had changed the movie to a romantic one. He was going to frown and complain, but then Namjoon walked in.

'I thought I heard screams'
'Our baby wanted to see a horror movie.' Tae smiled, and Namjoon laughed, leaning down to kiss Hoseok's head.
Hoseok smiled and looked at his outfit suspiciously, 'where are you going?'
'I have some work to do, baby'
'But it's almost midnight...' The boy whined, and Namjoon smiled, 'yeah, well, duty calls'.

Hoseok noticed how Namjoon and Taehyung exchanged a look for a second, with subtle smirks.
Namjoon kissed his head again, then his lips, 'See you later. Let him sleep early'
'He will'
Taehyung responded, and Hoseok said goodbye as Namjoon walked out.

He turned to Tae as soon as Namjoon was gone, 'where is he going?'
'To work baby, like he said'
'Then... why did you look at each other like that?'.
Tae's eyes lit up in amusement, 'you saw that'
'Mmm hm'
'Well.. baby... we have our regular jobs as you know, our companies'
'Isn't that where he's going?'
Taehyung couldn't help but smile at the look on the boy's face, 'listen, baby, one day or a few times rather, we may come home looking... different'
'Different how?'
'Like... with stuff you haven't seen before'
'Like demon ears?'.

Taehyung threw his head back in laughter, and Hoseok smiled, 'What do you mean?'
'I mean... like blood'
Hoseok's eyes widened, 'Why? Did you get hurt?'
'No baby, I'm pretty sure the others don't want you hearing this, so I'll just say very little. If we ever come home like that, like we just... kil- hurt someone, I just want you to know we're fine and there's no need to panic'.

Hoseok looked thoughtful for a few seconds, 'is Joonie going to hurt someone? Is that why he's leaving at this hour?'
Taehyung bit down on his lip, 'come on baby, watch the movie'.

Hoseok couldn't keep his mind on the movie as he thought about what Taehyung had said. He knew they were demons, and he knew they were dangerous. He remembered his question when he first got here, about them killing people, and no one had denied it. What he couldn't understand was what would make them kill.

Was it people who offended them or people they didn't like.
His hands shivered a little as he thought about what Namjoon was doing right now. He was... hurting someone.
