Kaisha's Pov
Me and Rain? We've become so close that chatting daily feels as natural as breathing. And of course, our conversations are never complete without our endless teasing and banters. It's like our unspoken rule-always outwit the other.
"You know, you should thank me," Rain said. "You're more productive because I keep you entertained."
I rolled my eyes, smirking. "Excuse me? I'm productive because of my coffee, not because of you."
"Sure, sure," she teased. "But let's not forget who keeps you smiling while you sip your coffee. Ako yun."
"Ang kapal mo, Rain! But fine, maybe you're 10% of the reason. Tops!"
"10%? Wow, so ungrateful. Okay, let's test that. I'll stop chatting for a day. Let's see how 'productive' you'll be without me."
I laughed. "Okay, fine! 50%! But that's it. Don't get used to it."
"Knew it. You can't resist me."
I groaned, shaking my head. How does she always win these little arguments?
The first time Rain suggested we video call, I felt like my brain short-circuited. Why was I so nervous? We've seen each other in person, right? But somehow, this felt scarier.
When the call connected, her face appeared on my screen, her signature smirk already in place. "Hi, pretty stalker!"
I froze. Literally froze. Ang ganda niya talaga.
"Uh, hi..." I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Rain's smirk widened. "What's this? Kaisha, shy ka? Are you blushing? Oh no, is this the first time you've seen me?"
"Rain, shut up!" I said, burying my face in my hands. "I'm just not used to video calls, okay?"
"Sure, sure," she teased. "But parang you're more shy than usual? Ako lang 'to."
"Exactly! Ikaw kasi eh. Ang poganda mo," I blurted out before realizing what I just said.
Rain's laughter filled the call, and I wanted to disappear on the spot. "Aw, ang cute mo talaga. Kaisha, relax. I don't bite. Unless... you want me to?"
"Rain!" I exclaimed, my face heating up even more.
"What? Just joking," she said, her tone playful and innocent. "Pero grabe, you're too fun to tease."
I pouted, crossing my arms in mock offense. "Lagi ka na lang ganyan. Can't you give me a break for once?"
Rain leaned closer to the camera, smirking. "Break? Bakit? Di ba kaya ng pretty stalker ko ang konting teasing?"
"Grabe ka talaga," I muttered, shaking my head, but the smile tugging at my lips betrayed me.
Rain's smirk deepened. "You're so cute when you're shy and embarrassed. Parang gusto ko tuloy ulit-ulitin."
"Ah, kaya pala you always want to tease me!" I pointed at her on the screen and raised an eyebrow. "So it's fun for you, ha?"
"Kinda," she admitted, shrugging playfully. "And I'm not sorry for that kasi I love watching you get shy!"
She clapped a hand over her mouth immediately after saying that, her eyes widening in surprise, as if she didn't mean to let it slip.
I raised my eyebrows, a smirk forming on my lips. "Parang totoo na ang feelings mo ah?"
Rain narrowed her eyes at me, but I could tell she was trying not to laugh. "Feelings? What feelings? Wala akong sinabing ganun!"
"Eh, sabi mo you love watching my face when I'm shy. LOVE, Rain? LOVE?" I emphasized the word, leaning closer to the screen to tease her back.
