Where Rodimus & Trimus Are At:

The crimson sun of Cybertron dipped below the horizon, casting long, eerie shadows across the plains. Rodimus, his optics still adjusting to the fading light, sat beside Trimus, the elder Autobot gazing out at the vast expanse of the landscape.

"You know," Trimus began, his voice a low rumble, "this planet, it's seen a lot. Wars, betrayals, miracles... and near-tragedies."

Rodimus, intrigued, leaned closer. "Near-tragedies? What kind of near-tragedies?"

Trimus sighed, a low, mournful sound. "Twenty years ago... Unicron. My uncle. He was a god, once. Powerful beyond measure. But power corrupts, Rodimus. It twists, it consumes."

He paused, the memories clearly still vivid. "He sought to devour Cybertron, to consume all life. I fought him, alongside my wife, Ember. She was human then, brave, fierce. We fought valiantly, but Unicron... he was too strong."

Trimus clenched his fist, his voice hardening. "He struck me down, shattered my spark. Left me for dead. Ember... she found me, clinging to life. She wouldn't give up on me, Rodimus. She used her own energy, her own life force, to stabilize my spark, to keep me alive."

Rodimus felt a chill creep down his spine. "But what about you? You were both injured?"

Trimus looked at him, his optics filled with a deep love. "We were both close to the brink. But we survived. We healed together, stronger than ever before. Ember... she's the strongest being I know."

Rodimus was speechless. The strength of their love, the resilience they displayed in the face of such a devastating attack, was awe-inspiring.

"I swore an oath that day," Trimus said, his voice regaining its strength. "An oath to protect Cybertron, to protect Ember, to protect our family. And I will. I will, no matter the cost."

Rodimus, deeply moved, placed a hand on Trimus's shoulder. "I will help you, Trimus. We will protect Cybertron together."

Trimus smiled, a small, weary smile. "Thank you, Rodimus. You have a good heart. A strong spark."

Later that night, as the stars twinkled above them, Trimus introduced Rodimus to his family. NightRay, his techno-organic son, was a whirlwind of energy, his circuits humming with excitement. Ember, now a serene and wise woman, greeted Rodimus with a warm smile and a gentle touch.

Rodimus felt a sense of peace, a feeling of belonging he hadn't experienced in a long time. He knew this was where he needed to be, with these brave, resilient Autobots. He had found a home, a family, and a purpose. And he would not let them down. He would honor their courage, and he would fight alongside Trimus to protect Cybertron, no matter the cost.
