After Raven escaped the betrayal of her own clan and Vernal fought against them so she can escape, Jason Blaze & his followers proved their loyalty to the Arcadian diplomats and as a reward to them, they spared Vernal's life, but she lost her right arm & left leg during the fight that proved Jason's loyalty to the Arcadian Empire
Now, at the Star Forge, we see Vernal being held for interrogation in one of the station's many holding cells, with Jason being the one interrogating her while two Dark Troopers were behind the Branwen tribe traitor (aka: Jason Blaze)

Jason: (smirks) Comfortable?
Vernal growled in anger for what his betrayal back at the tribe's camp
Jason: Emperor Jaune told me that his follower, Rika, has both the Winter & Fall maiden's powers. Including the Summer Maiden's powers since they attacked Vacuo before we were inducted into the Arcadian Empire, now he wants the last one, the Spring Maiden.
Vernal growled in anger once again
Vernal: I'm not telling you who the Spring Maiden is, Traitor!
Jason smirked widely and chuckled a little bit
Jason: oh, you are going to tell me.
He snapped his fingers, ordering the interrogation droid to approach Vernal as it began to electrocute her, making her scream in pain
Jason: where is the Spring Maiden? Who is she?
Vernal was resistant despite the droid shocking her, who didn't say anything to Jason except spat on his face, making him wipe her spit off with a disgusted look and slapped her face hard
Jason: TELL ME WHERE THE SPRING MAIDEN IS THIS INSTANT!!!
Vernal: .......
As Vernal remained silent once again, Jason gestured the interrogation droid to electrocute Vernal again as she screamed loudly

After the interrogation, Jason & the two Dark Troopers leave the room where Blake (The Shadow) is waiting for him and walked with him & the Dark Troopers
Blake: Did Vernal give up and tell you where the Spring Maiden is?
Jason: no, but she did tell me her identity. Turns out it was Raven Branwen this whole time.
Blake widened her eyes in recognizing the name ''Branwen''
Blake: did you say ''Branwen''?
Jason stopped walking and turned his head at her
Jason: I did. (raises eyebrow) how do you even know that name?
Blake: ......... because I met her brother... she's Yang's mom & Ruby's uncle.
