Classroom of the Elite The Representative

Kiyoshi POV

It was the end of the day. I stood in the classroom packing up my things.
Kushida: "Yoshi, wanna go to a cafe with us?"

Kiyoshi: "I would but I can't, student council"

Kushida: "That's starting today? Well good luck"

Kiyoshi: "Thanks."
I walked out of the classroom and headed down the hall to the student council room. The door was already open so I just let myself in, walking in and looking around the room. There was a long U shaped table in the middle of the room, a few people sitting in chairs around it.

The first face I recognize is Manabu, Horikita's brother and the one who spoke at the club fair.
???: "Kiyoshi! Sit here."
I look toward the voice and spot Ichinose, patting a seat beside her. I just shrug and go sit beside her. A few more minutes passed, maybe totaling to around 12 members were in the room.

Manabu: "Welcome everyone,  this won't take long. Here we'll discuss upcoming matters like the sports festival and field trips. As well as explosions and other decisions."
Everyone remained silent.

Kiyoshi: That's it? Boring

Manabu: "Sometimes I'll give you guys paperwork, it'll mainly just be about people's grades and what not. Any questions."
No hands were raised
Manabu: "Then you're all dismissed."

People gathered their things, standing up one by one and heading out. I followed out behind Ichinose.
Ichinose: "Are you free?"

Kiyoshi: "Yeah? Wanna do something?"
A smile came on her face.

Ichinose: "Yeah! Let's grab something to eat."

Kiyoshi: "Alright, you lead the way."
She began walking and I just followed.

We made our way to an ice cream shop.
Ichinose: "Have you been here yet? Somebody recommended it to me."

Kiyoshi: "Nope, the only place I've been to was the cafe down the street. It's pretty good."

Ichinose: "Hm, you can take me there some other time"
She said as we stepped in line. It didn't take long for us to get our ice cream, taking a seat at one of the tables.
Ichinose: "Thanks for paying for mine, are you sure I don't owe you?"

Kiyoshi: "Yeah it's fine, don't worry about it."
I said as I took a scoop of my ice cream, it was just vanilla with caramel syrup on it.

Ichinose: "Thanks. You're seriously nothing like I thought you'd be."

Kiyoshi: "A lot of people say the same thing."
I say then take another scoop of ice cream into my mouth.
Kiyoshi: "Are you dating anybody?"

Ichinose's cheeks reddened a bit.
Ichinose: "Huh? No, not at all. Do you like me or something?"

I just laughed at her reaction.
Kiyoshi: "No, sorry that question came out weird. You're cute so I thought somebody would have tried to get with you already. Plus I was just trying to make conversation."
Her face stayed red.

Ichinose: "Thank you, but nobody asked me out yet."

Kiyoshi: "Surprising, but it is only like the 4th day."

Ichinose: "Yeah, do you have a girlfriend, you're pretty attractive yourself."

Kiyoshi: "Nope, i don't like an-"

Maya: "Kiyoshi!"
She ran up to me and hugged me, and Ichinose just looked at each other. Maya broke her hug from me and looked at Ichinose.
Maya: "On a date? Seems she made more progress."
