An Endless Time Loop (BLOCKTALES AU)

The Player took a deep sigh and looked at the entrance of the cemetery before entering. The smell of death lingers, it was rather unpleasant. They can never get used to it.

Seeing rotting corpses of zombies wasn't helping at all. Yet, how can they get used to it's sight? And they thought they were ready to confront the ghostwalker again when they themselves can't get used to the sight of mere zombies.

They walked inside the entrance and immediately rush pass towards the zombies. The zombies were pretty slow so that takes them to an advantage.

They went passed through the obstacles as usual. Using the rocket boots they went back for and glided their way to the other side before going to flip some switches before encountering more undead.

It didn't take long before they got to the manor. The grand manor have been up for decades now yet still had the utmost perfect condition even after the destruction too.

At times, they were grateful to have the manor. And for Telamon to let people freely enter the place. It was uncertain how Telamon made it for that the manor only accept innocent people but it works for them.

They went to the manor and entered it's open doors. They could see the butler busy and immersed with someone else, to be exact it was Kyoko. The Player without further adue immediately scurried their way to the dinner hall, and saw the knight.

The banished knight sitting at one of the chairs, he wasn't wearing his helmet and was seemingly staring at nothing. He looked like he gave up.

This surprised the Player, they thought he would still hold up and prove himself again to the king yet he sat there without his helmet on.

The Player felt a sort of empathy to the knight and went up to him. The banished knight took notice of the Player's presence and started to talk with them.

"I see you are still walking alive after the retaliation... I have no further details of what happened inside the castle but I heard a 'hero' helped the king. Blackrock is seen to be more thriving than ever, even rumours spread that a hero has appeared. Are you perhaps that...Hero?"

The Player blink and shakes their head. They didn't even gave any help to the king so that must be not them.

"No? I see. But whoever that hero is, I am glad for them to step up to make Blackrock a better place. I am more than grateful for them."

The Player blankly stared at the knight,

"Have you tried proving yourself to the king, again?"

They asked. The banished knight only chuckles, having no hope to continue any further to prove himself anymore.

"No, I have failed too many times...Far too many times. I even let an intruder like you pass through. How could he forgive this lowly knight?"

The Player paused before sighing and looked at the banished knight's eyes.

"Try again. You shouldn't give up now. If the 'hero' can change the king and Blackrock, why can't you too? You have tried and tried, why give up now? Isn't your struggle to prove yourself more enough you're loyal to the king? Give it at least a try until it's too late."

The banished knight looked at the Player shocked at what they just said, for a person who looks like they don't care about anything to give him motivational advice made the knight be moved.
