"You gotta understand that Mogadishu in the 90s was a hellhole." Kreese told the teens while they stretched.

Annabeth sat on the mat, stretching her legs, as she looked up at the man.

"Warlords controlled whole swats of the city. My team and I were charged with cleaning the place up." John motioned with his hands.

"How many warlords did you kill?" Hawk asked, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"You keep track of every ant you stomp out?" Kreese smirked. While Miguel scoffed quietly, Aisha, Hawk, and Annie looked at him, surprised.

"Badass." Hawk murmured.

"They were outgunned, we were outmanned. Rwanda was no joke." He sighed. In the same minute, Miguel got up with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Don't you mean Somalia?" He asked, gazing between Kreese and Hawk. "Mogadishu is in Somalia, Rwanda is a whole different country." He stated, and Kreese looked at him up and down. Annabeth annalized the two of them with a slight scrunched forehead.

"Of course, Somalia." He chuckled. "I've spent so much time in the sandbox. It all kinda bleeds together, you know."

"Listen up!" Johnny Lawrence shouted, entering the room. " 'See we've got some new recruits." He looks around as the students murmur. "Eveybody fall in, in neat rolls and lines." The sensei orders. "Time to see what you're made of."

Annabeth stands on the first row with a straight posture and a serious face. Johnny passes right through them, studying each face in the dojo.

"I am here to kick some ass, sir!" A man states from the back of the lesson. Annabeth instantly turns her head, surprising herself with the older man standing in the middle of the teens. "I...uhm, sold you the mirror. We kinda bonded about rock bands." The man said, making Annabeth chuckle, earing a slight glance from Johnny.

"Look, you're a little old. This is a class for teenagers." Johnny tells them, looking in his eyes.

"Well, I can take them. I'm not afraid of kids, sir." He grins. "And my mom doesn't charge me rent, so I just...I got a lot of cash to burn." He takes out a wad of money out of his pocket.

"Yeah." Johnny takes it from his hands. "We'll consider this a trial run." He walked back to the front of the class. "I thought my mast group of recruits were pathetic. But if you do what I tell,  you'll at least have a chance of becoming a fighter." He gazed around. "But to do that, you gotta fight. So, which one of you has the balls to take on the champ?"

Everyone stays awfully quiet, making the silence almost loud. Someone in the back inhales deeply, but before anyone else could volunteer, someone walks in.

"I'll take him on." It was a girl. Her hair was mostly brunette, but it had some blond bits on it. Only with that being said, all the eyes turned to her.

"Oh, you will, huh?" Johnny asked, and the girl nodded.

" I saw your little demo at Valley Fest." She told. "You guys can put up a show. Can you actually fight?" She challenged with a grin.

"That sounds like a challenge." Johnny tilted his head, approaching her.

"I like a challenge." She smirks. Annabeth stared at her with the same smirk, taking a look at the kid up and down.

"Mr. Diaz, show Little Miss Hotshot here what Cobra Kai is all about." The sensei walks back to the front, clearing space for a fight.

Miguel walks to the middle of the mat, facing the girl.

"Look, are you sure that you wanna do–" Before Diaz could finish his thoughts, he was striked on the chest by a kick, making him grunt, and everyone around gasped.
