Chapter 20:
Scarlet arrived at the upscale café where her meeting with Ha-neul was scheduled. The establishment exuded an air of sophistication, with its minimalist décor and soft ambient music. She spotted Ha-neul seated at a corner table, a set of architectural blueprints spread before him. As she approached, he stood up, offering a warm smile.
"Scarlet, it's wonderful to see you," Ha-neul greeted, pulling out a chair for her.
"Likewise, Ha-neul," she replied, taking her seat. "I'm eager to hear about your hotel project."
Ha-neul nodded, his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm. He unrolled the blueprints further, revealing detailed sketches of the hotel's layout.
"Here is the main entrance," he began, pointing to a grand foyer depicted in the plans. "Guests will be greeted by a spacious lobby with a cascading chandelier as the centerpiece. To the right, we have the dining area, which includes a gourmet restaurant and a casual café."
Scarlet leaned in, examining the designs closely. "The layout is impressive. I can see you've put a lot of thought into the guest experience."
Ha-neul smiled appreciatively. "Thank you. Now, moving on to the retail spaces," he continued, indicating a section adjacent to the suites. "I've allocated this area for high-end boutiques. I was thinking this would be the perfect spot for an exclusive store for your brand."
Scarlet studied the proposed location, noting its proximity to the suites. "It's a prime spot, but I'm concerned about accessibility. Being near the suites might limit foot traffic from non-hotel guests. Have you considered placing the store closer to the main lobby or entrance? That way, it would attract both hotel guests and external visitors."
Ha-neul paused, considering her suggestion. "That's a valid point. My initial thought was to offer an exclusive shopping experience for our suite guests, but broadening the accessibility could enhance the store's visibility and sales. I'll revise the plans to position the boutique nearer to the lobby."
Scarlet nodded in agreement. "That sounds like a better strategy. Additionally, ensuring that the store is visible from high-traffic areas within the hotel will naturally draw more customers."
As they continued discussing the finer details of the hotel's design, Ha-neul couldn't help but admire Scarlet's insight and attention to detail. Her passion for her brand and its representation was evident in every suggestion she made.
"Your perspective is invaluable," Ha-neul remarked. "Collaborating with you is proving to be more enlightening than I anticipated."
Scarlet smiled, a hint of a blush coloring her cheeks. "I'm glad to contribute. Your vision for the hotel is truly inspiring, and I'm honored to be a part of it."
Throughout the meeting, Ha-neul found himself increasingly captivated by Scarlet. Her intelligence, grace, and dedication resonated deeply with him. He had always admired her from afar, but this collaboration was allowing him to see facets of her personality that deepened his admiration.
As they wrapped up their discussion, Ha-neul felt a growing desire to know more about Scarlet beyond their professional interactions. "Would you be interested in joining me for dinner sometime? I'd love to continue our conversation in a more relaxed setting."
Scarlet hesitated for a moment, taken aback by the invitation. "I... I'd like that," she replied, her smile returning.
Ha-neul's heart swelled with anticipation. "Great. I'll make the arrangements and let you know the details."
As they parted ways, Ha-neul couldn't shake the feeling that this meeting was the beginning of something profound. His thoughts were consumed by Scarlet, and he found himself eagerly looking forward to their next encounter.
