"Rise and shine Freeman" Newt said violently shaking his friend Gordon along with Alyx. Yes Gordon is 27 and Newt is 17 but both there main friend groups are friends. "What, why, Is it like 7 am on a Saturday?"said Alyx. "Remember the meeting today, we decide what to do about the fact there has been many portal storms." Newt said standing outside the door. " Gordon walked out in an H.E.V suit. "Well? Let's go" Newt said walking out.
~At the meeting~
"I mean it could be a new internet trend. There all the rage now trying to keep up with them" Newt said in response to the ridiculous portal storms. "Or they could be real and cause serious issues" A man named Eli Vance from the Black Mesa Research Facility answered a hint of defensiveness in his tone. "Oh come on, portal storms? The Black Mesa incident ended yesterday!" Thomas, Newts boyfriend said holding back a laugh at the fact Eli believes this absolute bullshit. "You can't be serious" Teresa said walking out of the building shortly followed by her bestfriend Alyx.
~After a meeting that was more of an argument~
"Yes portal storms do exist!" Eli yelled out
"This is all bullshit!" Teresa responded
"I lost my wife to xenians!" Eli angrily yelled
"Now now, we must all calm down, the portal storms are not the most ideal and we shouldn't be fighting over it," Isaac Kleiner said while entering the room
A shake is felt, a massive "Superportal" forms above, Gordon runs out, but when Gordon runs he is confronted by the G-man, "Ahh, Gordon Freeman, good to see you again, I am aware that you have accepted my o-offer for a job, in order to start just step into the portal and i'll put you in stasis, time to go Freeman," Gordon walks in and is put into stasis, nobody knows where Gordon is, meanwhile Striders, Hunters, Hunterchoppers and Gunships come from the Superportal, this is the Combine, a multi-dimensional empire here via the Black Mesa incident coming to Earth to conquer it.
"SHUCK SHUCK SHUCK" Newt yelled grabbing Thomas' hand and both if them ran Alyx following behind him.
"WAIT WHERE'S MY DAD" Alyx yelled catching up with them.
"HES A SMART MAN HE'LL BE FINE" Newt yelled him, Thomas and Alyx running for Newts house.
"WE'RE GOING BACK TOMORROW TO CHECK FOR HIM" Alyx yelled. She wanted to stay there but she knew it would be to dangerous to leave any time today.
"I PROMISE" Newt yelled back as the three entered the house.
"Phew. Are any of you hurt?" Newt said concerned.
"Nope" both of them said in unision.
"Ok good we're all fine" Newt said setting up two beds.
"Ok Alyx you take one for yourself and me and Thomas will share the other" Newt said going to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.
~Around 5pm~
"Oh my god" Thomas said in disbelief.
"What?" Alyx said getting up from the card game her and Newt were playing.
"Is there something wro- HOLYY SHUCKING SHUCK" Alyx yelled seeing a portal extremely close to the house.
Newt had gone to click the lock down button giving them a force field but before he could Alyx ran out the force field seperating them and the other two.
"ALYX, ALYX NO" Thomas yelled sobbing.
"I HAVE TO SAVE MY DAD" she said running.
"NOOOOOOO" Thomas scream sobbed while Newt held him.
"Sh sh. Tommy she'll be fine, she is smart like her dad" Newt said trying to calm Thomas.
Alyx's POV
"Dad! Dad! Come on dad, I won't leave you here"
"Honey, run!" Eli yelled out.
"I can't leave without, you are too important to me!" Alyx replied
"You can't stay here! that portal isn't normal! I can tell!
"Get up! Come on dad, you can keep going, wheres Kleiner?"
"Everyone OK in here?" Barney said running inside the room. He seemed to be helping people out,
"I'm trying to get dad out of here" yelled Alyx.
"Alright, you go!" yelled Barney helping Eli up,
Alyx ran outside to go get the rest,
Alyx than finds Dr.Kleiner
"Alyx, Good to see you, is Eli ok?" Isaac says,
Out of nowwhere, a Bullsquid rushes from an alley, Eli runs out with Barney to push Kleiner out the way, the Bullsquid attacks Eli, Barney fires at it but Eli has lost one of his legs,
The rest come over,
a Strider, which is a Combine Synth, comes over and starts shooting at Alyx, it raises it leg and it comes down towards Alyx.
