GingerBrave tightened his grip on his sugar cane, his jaw set in determination. The corridors stretched endlessly before him, each path lined with mirrors reflecting distorted visions of the group. He glanced back over his shoulder, hoping to see his friends. But the twisting shadows had long since swallowed them.
"I'll find you," he muttered under his breath, his mind set on reuniting with everyone—and reaching you before Shadow Milk Cookie's plans unfolded further.
Farther down another hall, Wizard Cookie was deep in battle with his own reflection. The phantom mirror version of him smirked arrogantly, twirling its candy staff with unnatural precision.
"Give up, Wizard. You've always been the weakest link," the reflection taunted. "Relying on others is all you're good for."
"Enough!" Wizard Cookie shouted, channeling his magic into a concentrated burst of energy. He shot it at the mirror version, shattering it into shards of light. The illusion dissolved, but the path forward only warped again.
"Ugh, why does everything here twist and bend?" he growled, trying to orient himself. He thought of you, of how his friends had been separated and dragged into Shadow Milk Cookie's twisted web. The thought alone was enough to keep him moving forward.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Cookie wandered down a quieter path. The air around her was dense with silence, but the eerie carnival music hummed faintly in the background. She clutched her lollipop tightly, her hands trembling.
"Don't let him get to you. Don't let him get to you," she whispered to herself.
Suddenly, one of the mirrors before her flickered to life, showing a reflection of her friends, trapped in a cage of swirling, ghostly eyes. Shadow Milk Cookie floated nearby in the image, watching you with a mixture of amusement and something darker.
"Leave them alone!" Strawberry Cookie shouted, smacking the mirror with her lollipop. The glass cracked but didn't shatter, and the reflection only laughed at her frustration.

The twisting maze of mirrors finally led the gang back toward one another. GingerBrave Cookie stumbled into a circular chamber where Wizard Cookie and Strawberry Cookie had just arrived from opposite sides.
"Wizard Cookie! Strawberry Cookie!" GingerBrave Cookie shouted in relief.
"You're okay!" Strawberry Cookie said, running to his side. "I thought I'd never find anyone again."
"We don't have time to celebrate," Wizard Cookie said, his sharp eyes scanning the room. "This place isn't done messing with us."
As if on cue, the walls began to ripple again, mirrors shifting into towering forms of shadow. From each side of the chamber, illusions of Shadow Milk Cookie emerged, their laughter filling the air.
"Ah, look at this! A heroic little reunion," one of the illusions purred, circling the group. "How touching. But where's your dear little crumb, hmm?"
GingerBrave raised his sugar cane, stepping protectively in front of the others. "We're getting them back, and there's nothing you can do to stop us!"
"Oh, I wouldn't dream of stopping you," the illusions said in unison, their grins sharp. "The finale is nothing without an audience. But..."
The shadows surged forward, attacking all at once. The group was forced into action, dodging and striking back as the illusions taunted them.
Wizard Cookie conjured a shield of light, deflecting an incoming strike. "These aren't real! Focus on breaking them down!"
Strawberry Cookie smacked another illusion with her lollipop, her timid demeanor replaced by fierce determination. "We're not leaving without them!"
GingerBrave Cookie charged forward, his sugar cane glowing with energy as he slammed it into one of the illusions, shattering it. "We're coming, [Name]! Hold on!"

Unbeknownst to the gang, Shadow Milk Cookie watched from his perch high above, his mismatched eyes gleaming with amusement and a hint of something darker.
"They're persistent. I'll give them that," he mused, his voice carrying a sardonic edge.
But his gaze shifted, softening ever so slightly as it landed on you. You sat in the center of his lair, surrounded by ghostly eyes that seemed to pulse with his magic. He floated closer, his presence a suffocating mix of theatrical charm and quiet menace.
"Oh, little crumb," he murmured, his voice almost fond. "Your friends are making quite the mess of my stage. But don't worry. The grand finale is just for us."
His grin widened as he reached out, brushing his fingers against the edge of your prison. "Let's see how far they'll go to reach you... and how far you'll go to escape me."
