"Come in! I've been waiting for a good drink all day~" She licks her teeth, standing to the side to let me in.

"So, uhm, do I just hold my arm out?"

I've taken off my coat and shoes and am now sitting on Morgan's sofa, sitting next to her as she curls up next to me.

"Don't overthink it! I'll do it, don't worry. Just so you know, it might hurt a little~" she giggles, gently taking my left forearm and turning it over, holding it in both of her hands. It bloody hurt the first time, so I try to mentally prepare myself for when she bites me.

Morgan holds my wrist up to her face, her long, cold fingers wrapped around my arm and hand, intertwining her fingers in mine. She slowly licks her scarlet red lips and bares her perfect white fangs, her pupils slitted as she focuses on my wrist, watching my skin like I'm prey.

She sinks her teeth into wrist, making me hiss and groan in pain as she takes large, hungry gulps of my blood. I begin feeling dizzy, Morgan's apartment growing more and more blurrier every few seconds. In books and shows with vampires, how the hell do the protagonists get turned on by this?! This hurts like hell! And if anything, Morgan looks like the one being turned on.

She stops drinking, tipping her head back and sighing in pleasure. Her teeth and lips are covered in my blood. There's a small drip rolling down her chin.

"Oh! Isla, you just taste heavenly." she sighs, leaning her head back down to my arm and slowly licking the wound, wiping away the blood that started pooling there when she let go. Her tongue is warm against my skin, slowly dragging across my wrist and leaving two clean bite marks after she licks away the blood. I don't know how to feel about that.

Her face is now a healthy, glowing pink, her grey complexion from a few minutes ago now gone.

I groan wearily and lay back on the sofa, using my other hand to clutch my head. I'm dizzy, lighthead, woozy, the whole works. I don't feel as dizzy as I did when she first bit me, but dizzy all the same. Morgan giggles softly and holds my arm gently, leaning on me and giving my cheek a quick kiss. She's warm.

"Stay here, my dear, I'll get some things to patch you up~" she whispers, letting me go and walking off, leaving me on the sofa.

I close my eyes and I try to gather my thoughts as Morgan leaves. Did I really have to do this every week or so? Surely all the blood loss wouldn't be healthy for me.

I guess I'll have to get used to it, this was the option I chose after all.
I try to dig deeper into my thoughts, but they start spiralling off and fading away. The blood loss is probably messing with my head.

"I'm back, my dear~" Morgan sings as she walks towards the couch. I don't bother opening my eyes, just making an 'Mhm' noise when she approaches me.
She gently takes my left forearm, opening a box of some sorts and wiping the wound with an antiseptic wipe. Then she takes a plaster and sticks it firmly across the wound, smoothing it out with her slender fingers.

"Darling, open your eyes~" she giggles, lifting my other hand off of my head.
I do as she says and open my eyes, seeing her softly smiling at me.

"Are you feeling alright?" I do a see-saw motion with my hand, indicating that I was somewhat fine.

"Alright, good. Here, swallow this."
She hands me a tablet and a glass of water, gently placing them in my hands.

"Wha... What is it?" My voice is faint and weary.
