-Tim-
As soon as Grey called about Lucy being kidnapped, I quickly got dressed and rushed to the station.

"What do we have?" I ask, approaching Lopez, Harper, Juarez, Nolan, Thorsen, and Sergeant Grey.

"Nothing really, We have camera footage, but you can't see the man's face. He did throw Lucy's bag on the ground. It's being processed for fingerprints," Angela explained.

Grey's phone went off. He looked at his phone, then back up at us. "Our suspect is dressed all back, correct?"

"Yes, with red shoes." Nyla responded.

"He just escaped from prison." Grey added.

"Who's our suspect?" Nolan asked.

Grey turned his attention to me. "Ray Watkins.."

I turn to Angela, "Tim, We'll get her back." She said, watching me as a tear fell.

"No. I am." I said, grabbing my phone.

"Do you know where she is?" Grey asked, following me.

"No, but I'm going to take a guess and say his mother's house."

It's a quiet, but quick ride to his mother's house. Grey knocks on the door. No response.

He backs up and I kick in the door.
"Ray! Ray Watkins!" I shout as we search the house. No sign of Ray or Lucy.

"Damnit." I said as Grey took out his phone.

"Hey, don't worry, we'll find her." He said, answering a call. "You're on speaker with me and Tim."

"Good, we have a possible location. Nyla tracked her phone to an old apartment complex. We are on our way. Send you the location." Angela said.

She hung up and we drove to the apartment complex.

"Tim, Is Ray doing this because of the report, or because you arrested him and caused the military police to acknowledge his existence again?" Grey asked.

I paused. "Maybe, He may just want money and figured kidnapping my girlfriend- sorry, ex-girlfriend, would get him that money."

I hated calling her my ex-girlfriend. I wish I was available emotionally and mentally for her. "Ray also hates me, it could be a revenge plan." I added.

Grey nodded as we arrived at the location. 2 other shops pulled up behind us. The sirens were off, we couldn't risk Ray running.

Grey, Angela, Nyla, and I went in first. There was a bloody handprint on the first apartment door. This building was old, Ray had clearly been living here for a while. It made sense, not many people would suspect some military man who's supposed to be dead to live here. We heard a gunshot, then a scream.

Every officer was clearing very empty apartment rooms. After the 6th one, I found them. "LAPD!" I yelled, as Angela was at my six.

"Hey, Hey, Tim." Ray said, putting his arms in the air. Lucy was in the corner shaking, her shirt was on the floor. It looked as if Ray was about to do something to her. She's got her zip-up on, tears fell from her eyes. I looked over to the other corner.

Ray's wife was crying hysterically. She's covered in blood, not just her own. Ray had just killed his own daughter. He'd beaten his wife heavily. Angela took Ray to a shop and Nyla comforted his grieving wife. I went straight to Lucy.

"Hey," I said, holding out my hand. She took my hand, I helped her up and held her tight.

"Are you okay?" I ask quietly.

"I am now," she whispered.
