His head throbbed like it did every morning when he got up.
He always started the day with a migraine, which then tripled throughout the day if he didn't take his meds at the right times. It wasn't always the most pleasant awakening , who was he kidding? It never was a pleasant way to wake up in the morning.
But it was his life and he had to get used to it.
He slowly sat up, trying not to pass out from the pain. He carefully looked around his room only to see that trophy had left for breakfast already.
Wonderful, no criticism this morning just yet.
He attempted to step out of bed before feeling nauseous and quickly grabbing the bin beside him. He hurled into the bin, creating some weird concoction of both sick and tissues covered in snot.
It's okay. I had to empty my bin out anyway.
He made it to the hallway and slowly went down the stairs to the main lobby. It was a nice day today. The Sun was shining through the windows, giving the whole room a warm glow. There were people chatting quietly about whatever they could come up with.
Tissues reached to the table and got some dry cereal. He had to have it dry because soap said that he could contaminate the milk or something like that. He didn't mind. He didn't feel as though his body could take any more fluids with the amount he was sneezing up every day. He was like a snot machine.
"Hey tissues!" Tissues turned to see OJ standing behind him. "You doing alright bud?"
OJ often checked on him in the morning when it was breakfast time. Tissues couldn't tell if he actually cared or if he just didn't want to get sued for poor healthcare.
"Yeah, you know. Just the usual."
" I see... well if you need anything, just let me know."
" I will thanks OJ."
OJ then turned to leave, resulting in Tissues, Paintbrush, Clover and Suitcase at the table.
Tissues didn't really know any of them that well, not well enough to know them as 'friends'.
He guessed the Suitcase was sort of a friend. She helped him when he found out he had been created as a joke by Mephone4.That was a rough day for everyone.
But that was over a few months ago and pretty much everyone had moved on from then.
It didn't exactly move from from Tissue's mind, though. Being created as a joke, a thing to be laughed at, not serving really any other purpose than to be sick for other people's amusement.
His thought was broken off when he heard someone call behind him. "Hey, Snot brains!"
Groan. Just what I need this morning.
Trophy was leaning against the door frame to the main lobby. His golden skin shone and gleamed in the morning sun-rays, reflecting light across the room and nearly blinding everyone in it.
"Morning to you too trophy." Tissues replied.
"You know you're pathetic right?" Trophy exclaimed.
Tissues remained silent. There was no point trying to argue with him. He already had him as a roommate. Wasn't that punishment enough?
"Can you at least clear our room of your snot? It's starting to get on my side of the room." he complained.
Tissues never really did anything about cleaning his room unless Soap decided to do it for him because he was just, 'too unhygienic'. She would complaining that if he tried to clean the room, more things would just get contaminated so she just did it.
Although the Trophy did have a point. It wasn't the most pleasant site to look at."I'll do it in a bit Trophy." Tissues replied eventually.
"Oh of course you will." Trophy replied in a snarky tone. "I know you won't actually do it."
Trophy left the room taking all the blinding rays with him.
"What a jerk." Tissues heard Paintbrush say under their breath.
"You should really try and stand up for yourself" Suitcase mentioned to Tissues.Tissues didn't respond to anyone. He just wanted to go back to bed and call it a day. He had his food, a bit of a walk and he was bound to get a drink when he is going to walk past paper.
Paper always give him a drink, even if he spilt it on himself and it got himself soggy.Tissues with then brought back to reality when clover was waving in front to his face.
"Are you ok Tissues?"
"Hm,- Oh yeah Uhh... I think I'm gonna go back to bed." Tissues told them."Oh okay. See you later, tissues!" Clover said in a cheerful way.
Tissues got up and began to walk to the stairs through the lobby. Suddenly, he fell a jolt of pain exploding throughout his spine.
It felt so raw and painful, Almost like he had been slashed down the back with a knife.
He hadn't been hurt or attacked by anything. It's must have been a body reaction.
But He never felt pain like this before, not from his condishawn or anything.
Tissues fell to his knees because of the quick rush of pain. It hurt so much. Others in the lobby noticed and started to come to his aid.
Tissues hearing tuned out, he saw people talking to him but the only thing he could hear was either low buzz or high-pitched ringing, sometimes the sounds merging together to make a horrible sound.
Tissues, despite the pain he was in managed to get up and pushed past the people, claiming over and over that he was okay.
He really was not okay. He still couldn't hear properly and his back burned with pain.He somehow managed it up the stairs and down the corridor to his bedroom. Just to Tissues' luck, Trophy was sat on his bed, fiddling with his camera. He was taking out the memory card, dusting it off and then putting it back in. Trophy had started talking to him but he couldn't hear a single word of what he said.
He's probably telling me to get hold of myself and tidy up.
Tissues flopped on his bed while Trophy stood over him with his hands on his hips, becoming more annoyed by the second.
"You're completely useless you know that right?" Tissues heard Trophy shout over the ringing and buzzing.
Tissues was just so tired that he just passed out then and there. That was when the nightmares began.
