Alexander's fallen angel

Alexander's pov

I look at my beautiful mate trying to keep my composure. "Can we sit down?" I nod to the end of the bed and she shly nods but moves herself to the top of the bed, her back pressed against the wall again. I take a seat and nod to jude to sit down "I don't think there's enough room Alex" he lightly chuckles "I'm good standing" he's right, with our huge frames there isn't much room on theses beds anyway but no way all 3 would fit on here. I turn back to Olivia "so, why don't you start by telling us about you, your family etc. I know you and Angelina said you're not a threat but I need to make sure you aren't connected to a enemy pack" thankfully we don't have many enemies now that me and Jude spent years fixing our father's fuck ups. I watch her closely, looking for any signs of her lying to us but I see the sadness in the eyes as she shrugs her shoulders

"I don't even know what a pack is so I definitely don't have connections with them, I swear to you both I'm telling the truth. I didn't mean to fly over your lands. I have no family or friends" she looks down at her hands "I was left in a orphanage,  I have no idea who my parents are or where they are. I ran away from there when I was 13. It wasn't a nice place, I cant remember excatlywhat happened but I know the owners wasnt good people. Angelina has kept me safe since I left" she looks up and smiles when she talks of her angel "I didn't meet her properly until I was 18 but she's always been with me you know?"

I nod "yeah we understand. We're born with our wolves as well but most of us shift at 18 but me and Jude having alpha bloodline we shifted at 16"

"What do you mean alpha bloodline?" She raises her eyebrow and I can't but smile as she looks so sweet and innconet. 

"Alpha means the leader of the pack. We are the biggest, strongest and fastest memebers of our pack. Our father was the alpha before us so we took over after his passing"

"I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Do you miss him?"

I look to Jude and we share that look. We never know what to say when we talk about our father. Yes he was a bad man and he wasn't a good leader but he was also our father. We did have good times and he made us into the men we are today.

"Honestly, it's a tough subject"

"Oh. I'm sorry" she looks down at her hands again.

"It's okay. So tell me more. You said you ran away from the orphanage "

She nods and hums "I was there until I was 13 when I ran away, since then it's just been me and Angelina. She's always kept me safe, I met her properly when I was 18. Shortly after my birthday I got a job working in retail and started saving money to have my own home, then I went into care work which I absolutely love, I've always wanted to help people. I'm saving up to learn to become a vet"

"That's cool, so why were you over our land Olivia?" Jude pipes up coldly and I shoot him a warning glare.

"I swear it wasn't nothing bad. I had always loved the forest around here, there's always been a pull that we can't deny. I had finished my shift at work and then come out to fly, Angelina loves being free so we come here. I only fly for around 20-30 minutes, I was going back to my car when you shot me" she sends me a cold glare and I hide my smile. She's just too cute.

"Yeah I'm sorry about that, I really am. I never wanted to hurt you we just didn't know who or what you were so I had to protect my pack, that's what an alpha does"

"I understand but can I leave now? It's actually meant to be my time off and I wanted to enjoy it before I'm due back in Wednesday"

"I'm sorry olivia. You'll probably have to call in sick. I can't let you go until we've figure out why you're here"
