Whispers - Sasappis x OC (Ghosts CBS)

HAHAHAHAHA TAKE THAT!! I sure hope he stays up late thinking about that conversation and thinking about how he could have been nicer to the new girl around here. And I also hope he thinks "Man, that girl knows how to stand up for herself and insult people properly! I should stay away from her. She's intimidating." That's what he'll be thinking.

She.... What? She... Thinks my name suits me pretty well? I stand in the middle of the room for a while, spending it entirely on questioning whether I heard her wrong. She likes my name? Did I get that correct?

500 years and I would love to say that that was the most confusing conversation I've ever had, but I'd be devastatingly wrong. For one thing, Flower exists. For another thing, the rest of them also exist. But now this new girl exists. I think her name is Lowes, but I'm not exactly sure. Mostly because I forgot her name, so I got the information from Thor, who also forgot her name because he kept referring to her as "small lady." Technically an accurate description since he is taller than her, but he is also taller than everyone? But then out of all the ghosts to ask, Thor chose Flower and then came back to me with the information. Flower was not even there when Lowes introduced herself, and goodness knows where she got her information. That is at least three people I had to go through to get a name, and one of them, sweet as she may be, is not exactly the best at remembering things.

But anyways back to MY name because what was that?! I walk out of the room still replaying the conversation in my mind. I would ask Sam about it, but she and Jay are in their bedroom now getting ready for bed. Then I see Isaac walking up the stairs so I walk over to where he is going. "Hey uh, Isaac? You got a moment?"

Isaac seems slightly taken aback, which is understandable considering I don't tend to go to him for advice, but Sam isn't available and options are limited. Isaac faces me and clears his throat, "Uhh yes, Sass, what seems to be the problem?"

"Well, you know that new girl?" I begin talking.

Isaac nods understandingly. "Ah yes, Rose. I talked with her a great deal a few days ago. She seemed very interested in my life story, which is quite understandable."

One of my eyebrows raises at that last comment, but internally I facepalm to myself. Of course her name isn't Lowes! If I tell Isaac though, it'll become widespread news that I messed up her name, so I keep it internal. I continue explaining, "Well, me and her were talking-"

"I think only one of you guys were talking. The other mostly whispering," Isaac jokes. I laugh awkwardly for a minute with him. Those whispering jokes are probably going to become old quite fast for her, now that I think about it.

I continue, "Yeah, haha. Anyways, earlier we were in the TV room, and we kinda got into an argument, but at the end of it, she said the weirdest thing to me."

Isaac leans in. "Do tell..."

"She said with a disgusted look on her face, "Your name actually suits you pretty well," and then she walked away." I tell Isaac. He gasps slightly, backs up, and puts one of his hands up to his chin like he is thinking deeply.

I stare at him for a long while. He's having even more deep thoughts. His eyebrows are furrowing. He is probably coming to a final conclusion just about now.

"Yeah, I've got nothing," Isaac concludes.

"What!" I yell out. Isaac shushes me, and I lower my voice. "I mean, seriously, you can't think of any reason she may have said that?"
