Feel it like timely rain that seeps into my dry heart

"You know you can talk to me," Thame says, shifting so that we're both sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I know that, okay?" I snap, my voice sharper than I intended. I drop my gaze to my hands, exhaling.

Thame doesn't say anything. He just waits.

"...Sorry," I murmur, barely above a whisper.

The silence stretches, but it's not uncomfortable. It's just there.

"I just... I've never said it out loud before," I admit, still staring at my fingers.

Thame's hand moves to my back, rubbing slow circles. "You don't have to tell me if you're not ready."

I finally look at him, hesitant. "Don't hate me, okay?"

His brows furrow slightly. "I won't. I promise."

I take a breath. "I like Dylan, okay? I don't know when it started, I just... I really fell for him."

I glance over, bracing myself for his reaction.

And then—he smiles.

"I knew it," he says, bumping his shoulder against mine. "I could help you get with him."

I groan, shoving him lightly. "What are you even talking about? He doesn't like me back."

"You don't know that," Thame argues. "And even if he doesn't yet, that doesn't mean he can't develop feelings."

I shake my head, standing up from the bed. "Okay, okay, I don't wanna talk about this anymore—but sure, if it makes you happy."

Thame grins. "Oh, it definitely makes me happy."

I roll my eyes, but for the first time in weeks, I feel just a little bit lighter.

It's the next day now me and thame are sitting in the living room just on our phones

"i have an idea how to talk to the members" i say looking at him.

he look up and pushes his eyebrows together."We should have a little get away and go camping or something idk i don't really think to far ahead"

" That's kinda smart actually but how will we approach them about it?"

"Uhhhhhh, we can talk to the team about it—like a farewell for me leaving or something," Thame suggests.

"I mean... yeah, I guess that could work."

We convinced the members to visit the old house with Po's help. Speaking of Po, he's really starting to stick out to me—something about him just feels different.

Now, we're all gathered in the living room. It feels smaller than I remember, or maybe we just feel farther apart. Thame is the first to speak, as usual.

" I have been thinking about me leaving and i think we should have a farewell trip something for the fans but maybe it could help us as well" thame says looking around.

Silence

Dylan scoffs, standing up. "You're already acting like this is awkward, and now you want us to go on a trip together?" He crosses his arms before glancing at me. "Also, I don't want to sleep next to that."

I roll my eyes. "Who said I wanted to sleep next to you? I'd rather not rip my ears off from hearing you snore."

" first of all, i don't snore stop lying." dylan says getting closer to me, his voice defensive.

Before I can throw another jab, Pepper steps in. "Okay, okay. I actually think it's a good idea. It would help the fans with Thame leaving, and maybe it'd help us... fix things."

Nano sighs, leaning back against the couch. "But what's the point? We're all doing our own thing now. The fans still have content."

Thame shakes his head. "Yeah, but doesn't that feel wrong to you? We were together for years, and now we barely talk. Even if it's just this one last thing, don't we owe it to ourselves to end things properly?"

"Fine, I guess I'm in," Nano says, giving a small smile before turning his attention back to his phone.

Thame exhales, relieved, then turns to Dylan. "Dylan, please."

Dylan glances at him, then at me, his eyes shifting back and forth like he's weighing something in his mind.

"Fine." He mutters, barely audible.
