BSD fanfic's that don't make sense

Atsushi shifted on his feet, eyes closed, waiting for Kyouka to return and lead him into the office of the ADA.

Kyouka had went to the office with Atsushi after giving him the gift, and had asked him to wait outside for her to return.

A few minutes later and Atsushi heard the door open and felt Kyouka grab his hand. "Follow me." She whispered as she led Atsushi into the office. "Open your eyes."

He opened his eyes and looked around. The office seemed pretty normal. Until, suddenly everyone jumped out and confetti rained down.

(Is it concerning that I forgot the 'n' in Confetti when writing it at school?😭)

"Happy Birthday Atsushi!" Everyone called. Atsushi smiled.

The day continued with everyone celebrating and giving Atsushi gifts. Dazai, of course, gave him 'the gift of his presence', causing Atsushi to roll his eyes.

Ranpo gave Atsushi some candy, eating most of it himself. The gifts contained.

(Anyone wanna say what you think everyone would give Atsushi? I'd love to hear the ideas)

By the end of the day, Atsushi and Kyouka returned home. Kyouka insisted on carrying Atsushi's presents. When they got to the apartment, the found Akutagawa waiting outside.

Kyouka offered Atsushi a sad smile and walked inside, leaving Atsushi and Akutagawa alone.

Akutagawa walked up to Atsushi. "Happy birthday." He whispered, and with that, he kissed Atsushi on the lips and Atsushi kissed back.

Akutagawa pulled away and nipped at Atsushi's ear, whispering. "Gin is out on a mission tonight. I have you all to myself."

Atsushi shivered, gripping the fabric around Akutagawa's neck.

"Your place?" He whispered.

"My thoughts exactly, Jinko." Aku responded, pulling away and starting to guide Atsushi to his place.

(Pre-smut warning. Next chapter will be smutty, probably. Don't expect much from me. I'm honestly kinda scared to write smut. But I know that I would have failed myself if I didn't write Soukoku smut in my Soukoku married fanfic I will add to this book eventually, so I might as well try here.)
