As the car drives away, In-ho lays his hand on my lower back and leads the way to the restaurant. It's dark and a little bit cold outside because of the soft breeze. Here and there is a small puddle of water because it had rained recently but it makes the road shine in the moonlight.
In the near distance I can see some light shining through windows. It looks really cozy and it must be the restaurant. It's the only building on this street that has it's lights on.
On our way there we don't speak a word. I actually tried but In-ho said I needed to be quiet until we arrived. I don't know why that's needed but I just do what he asks at the moment.
As we arrive he opens the door and gently guides me inside. He closes it behind us and at the same time a waiter comes to the front. "Welcome. Do you have a reservation?" The waiter asks. "Yes I made one under the name Oh Young-il." In-ho answers.
He must have a second identity so he can't be found by the police or something. I mean when you have a job like him you kind of need another identity. The waiter leads us the way to a table next to a window with a beautiful view over the city and the night sky. There are candles and rose petals everywhere.
As I sit down and look around I notice the restaurant is completely empty except for the two of us."Did you plan all of this?" I ask him surprised. "Of course I did, you deserve it." He answers. A small smile forms on his face. Oh my god I love that smile, every time again it gives me butterflies and it makes me happy. "Do you like it?" He asks, making me stop daydreaming about his smile. "I love it. When did you even plan all of this?" I ask him curious.
"Do you remember when you got shot and slept for two days?" he smirks. I look at him with a playful look in my eyes. "Of course you did plan it all at that time." This man is really full of surprises but at the same time so predictable.I look at the menu but really don't know what to choose. There are way too many choices. "Y/n do you need some help with choosing?" In-ho asks as he sees me getting overwhelmed by the amount of choices. "Yeah no I don't know there are just so many different dishes. It's just impossible to pick one. What are you picking?" I ask him.
"If you really can't choose we can just order a couple of different dishes and you can taste from everything."
"No that's just too expensive." I say forgetting he is probably very rich.In-ho signs to the waiter that he wants to order. He explains to the waiter he wants a little bit of everything and the waiter nods. "We can't even eat all of that." I say but In-ho just smirks.
The waiter goes to the kitchen with our order and a couple of minutes later he comes back with some wine. He fills up our glasses and let us taste. "It has something special. What do you think my dear?" he asks me.
"Well I'm not that much of a wine drinker but it's not bad." I answer.
"Alright would you like a full glass?" The waiter asks. In-ho and I both nod and the waiter fill our glasses. As we wait for our food we both look at the beautiful view. "I never realised how beautiful the city was." I say and he just smirks. "And the stars are just so bright today." I feel In-ho looking at me while I'm admiring the view. He gently takes my hand and strokes me with his thumb.
After a while our food arrives, it smells amazing. I taste a little bit of everything but it's all so delicious. In the background there is playing soft music. I think the song that's playing now is 'Fly me to the moon', it matches the view a little.
When we are both finished eating In-ho asks for the bill. He pays and then we leave. "Would you like to go for a small walk? I know a beautiful spot you might like." He asks me when standing up to leave. "That sounds nice, yeah I would like to!" I'm getting exited for what he wants to show me.
