Julia's POV
📍 airport, barcelona

The cool Barcelona breeze greeted me as I stepped off the plane, Mikky right beside me. It felt good to be back, though a part of me missed the magic of Paris. But what I missed more was waiting for me.
Standing in the pickup area, Frenkie leaned casually against his car while Pedri stood beside his, arms crossed, eyes scanning the crowd. The moment his gaze locked onto mine, a slow smile spread across his face.
Mikky and I exchanged a glance before walking toward them. Frenkie wrapped Mikky in a hug, murmuring something in Dutch, while I made my way to Pedri. Before I could say anything, he pulled me into his arms, holding me tight.

"I really missed you," he murmured against my hair.
I smiled, feeling warmth spread through my chest. "I missed you too, cariño."

He pulled back slightly, cupping my face as he kissed me gently.

Pedri’s hand rested on my thigh as he drove, his touch light but reassuring.

"So," I started, glancing at him, "did you survive without me?"

He scoffed. "Barely. The house felt empty."

I grinned, leaning closer. "You’re cute when you’re needy."
"Shut up," he muttered, but his smile gave him away.

A few minutes later, we pulled into his driveway. Before I could step out, Pedri reached into the center console and handed me a small box.

I raised an eyebrow. "What’s this?"
"Just something I got for you," he said casually, but I could see the anticipation in his eyes.

I opened it, my breath catching at the delicate silver necklace inside. A small charm in the shape of a star dangled from it, subtle yet beautiful.

"Pedri…"I whispered, touched beyond words.
"You like it?"
I looked up at him, nodding. "I love it."

Without hesitation, I leaned over and kissed him, pouring all my gratitude into it.

Later, we curled up on the couch, watching my favorite show. Pedri’s arm was around me, his fingers tracing small patterns on my back.

"Admit it," I teased, turning to him.
"You missed me more than you’re letting on.'
He smirked. " i think I already admitted that."

I smiled, running my fingers through his hair. The closeness, the warmth , it was everything I had missed.
But just as we were lost in the moment, the front door suddenly swung open.

"Bro, do you have—"

Pablo’s voice died instantly.
I turned sharply, finding both Pablo and Ferran standing there, eyes wide in shock.
For a few long seconds, no one moved.

Then Ferran smirked. "Well, well, well."

Pablo burst out laughing. "We did not need to see that."

I groaned, grabbing the nearest throw blanket and pulling it over myself.

"Can you two not just barge in?"

Pedri, instead of being embarrassed, just leaned back with a grin.

"Your fault for not knocking."

They kept teasing him, while I, absolutely mortified, disappeared into the bedroom for a good twenty minutes.

Eventually, Pedri knocked on the door, his voice soft. "baby, come out. It’s not a big deal."

When I finally emerged, Pablo and Ferran grinned at me. "We’ll pretend we saw nothing," Pablo said.

"But Pedri won’t hear the end of it."

Dinner was easy and lighthearted, filled with laughter. The boys played on the PS5 while I FaceTimed Mikky, Anna, and Sira, catching up on everything.

Later that night, Pedri and I brushed our teeth together, our reflections side by side in the mirror.

"Feels like you’re here every night," he mused.
I glanced at him. "I basically am."

He turned to me, leaning against the counter.

"Then why don’t you just move in?"

I froze for a second, toothbrush still in my mouth.
He chuckled at my reaction.

"You’re here all the time, and I love having you around."
I rinsed my mouth before facing him properly. "It’s a big step."

"I know," he admitted. "But I want this. Us."

I thought about it. With Frenkie and Mikky about to have a baby, things were changing. Maybe this was the right time for me to take this step too.

I smiled. "Okay. Let’s do it."
His eyes lit up. "Really?"
I nodded. "We’ll start tomorrow. Just a few things to pack."
"And Frenkie to tell."

Pedri laughed, pulling me in. "Best decision ever."

As we lay in bed that night, his arms around me, I felt nothing but warmth and certainty.

Home wasn’t a place.

It was Pedri.
