The day had finally arrived—the day that would mark Luca and Luna's first real interaction with Dekisugi. The school was buzzing with excitement as everyone gathered in the classroom. Luca had been waiting for this day, eager to prove himself to Nobita.

But what Luca hadn’t expected, what he hadn’t prepared for, was the presence of Dekisugi.

---

The moment Luca stepped into the classroom and his eyes locked onto Dekisugi, his heart skipped a beat. Luca had heard the rumors, of course—the stories about how Dekisugi was a genius, the smartest student in class, and about his charm and good looks. But hearing about it was one thing; seeing him in person was entirely different.

Dekisugi was sitting at his desk, looking effortlessly handsome, as always. His posture was impeccable, his glasses perched perfectly on his nose, his expression calm and composed. He was the kind of person who seemed to radiate an aura of quiet confidence, someone who didn’t have to try hard to attract attention—but did so anyway. And Luca? Well, Luca couldn't help but feel an unexpected jolt of nervousness.

The way Dekisugi’s eyes flickered in his direction sent a shiver down Luca’s spine. There was something almost intimidating about the way he looked—like he was seeing right through him. Luca tried to shake it off, but his heart raced. He hadn’t realized it before, but now he saw it: Dekisugi wasn’t just some student at the top of his class. He was intimidating. Luca had never been afraid of anyone, but with Dekisugi, it was different.

Luca couldn’t help but feel a little smug when he saw his score—98 out of 100. He had aced the test, after all. He was certain no one could top that. Not even the so-called genius Dekisugi. After all, Luca had studied hard, put in the effort, and was proud of his achievement.

But as he sat in the classroom, watching the other students receive their grades, his confidence started to waver. There was a sense of unease in his chest. He glanced at Dekisugi, who sat across the room, looking at his test with an unreadable expression.

When the teacher handed back Dekisugi’s test, Luca’s breath caught in his throat.

Dekisugi had gotten a perfect score. 100 out of 100. Not a single mistake. Not only had he topped the class, but he'd done so effortlessly.

Luca’s heart sank, and for the first time in his life, he felt... defeated.

He quickly tried to reassure himself, telling himself that there was no way Dekisugi could be better than him in everything. Maybe in academics, but not in other things. Luca's gaze shifted back to Nobita, who had received a 62 out of 100. Luca was immediately jealous. Nobita, sitting there with his messy hair and that cute, boyish smile, had everything Luca wanted. Nobita’s attention, his affection, his admiration—things Luca would do anything to earn. But Nobita's gaze was always on Dekisugi, not him.

---

During lunch

As Nobita walked over to Dekisugi’s desk, he gave him a big smile and a light peck on his cheek. The entire class watched as Nobita affectionately patted Dekisugi’s head, telling him, “I’m so proud of you, Dekisugi.”

“Yeah, you’re the smartest in class!” Suneo teased, his voice dripping with playful sarcasm.

“Oh, and when you were in Sydney, Nobita was a lost puppy,” Gian chimed in, enjoying every second of the teasing.

Nobita blushed furiously, not at all shy about showing how much he cared for his boyfriend. “Stop it, guys,” he said, but there was a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

“I guess you really missed him, huh?” Shizuka added, grinning. "It was kind of cute how you kept checking your phone every five minutes."

Riraru raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, he couldn’t stop talking about you."

Nobita felt his face turn even redder, and he tried to cover it up by looking down at his food, but there was no escaping the teasing. He smiled shyly, a little embarrassed but clearly happy in his own way.

But Luca was anything but happy. His heart twisted with jealousy as he watched Nobita fawn over Dekisugi. Luca’s eyes narrowed as he stared at Nobita, his mind racing with thoughts of how to get him away from the genius.

---

The tension in Luca’s chest grew as the day wore on. During lunch, his gaze kept flickering between Nobita and Dekisugi. He couldn’t help but notice how Dekisugi’s presence seemed to command the room. His calm demeanor, his sharp intelligence—it all made Luca feel like he didn’t stand a chance.

But when his eyes met Dekisugi’s, something else happened. A flicker of something dark, something almost dangerous in Dekisugi’s expression sent a cold chill down Luca’s spine. There was a depth to Dekisugi’s gaze—like he could see right through Luca. Like he knew exactly what Luca was thinking.

Luca quickly looked away, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never felt so intimidated before. What was wrong with him? He tried to brush it off, but deep down, he knew he was in over his head.

---

Later that afternoon, Luca had enough.

In the hallway, he approached Nobita, his heart racing as he tried to mask his nerves. "Hey, Nobita..." he began, forcing a friendly smile, "you know, you’ve been... really nice to me ever since I came to this school. I—well, I just wanted to say thank you."

Nobita blinked, caught off guard by Luca’s sudden sincerity. "Oh, it’s nothing! You’re my friend, Luca." He smiled brightly, though there was a glimmer of something in his eyes that Luca couldn't quite place.

But before Luca could say anything else, a voice interrupted them.

“Hey, Luca,” Dekisugi’s voice was calm but carried an undeniable edge. “I see you’re talking to Nobita.”

Luca felt a jolt of unease. Dekisugi was standing there, his gaze cool, calculating. It was like a warning.

“I—I was just thanking him for being such a good friend,” Luca said, trying to keep his composure.

Dekisugi’s lips curled into a small smile, but there was no warmth in it. "That’s good," he said, voice dripping with subtle intensity. “You should always thank your friends.”

Luca swallowed hard, suddenly aware of the pressure in the air. He felt a strange sense of dread as Dekisugi stepped closer, his dark eyes locked onto Luca’s. There was something unspoken between them, something Luca couldn’t quite understand but felt deep within his bones.

And at that moment, Luca knew.

He was not just competing for Nobita’s attention. He was competing with someone who was far more dangerous than he realized.

---

As Nobita and his friends left the school that afternoon, Luca watched them with a determined expression on his face. He would do anything to win Nobita’s heart. But deep down, a small voice warned him that he had no idea what kind of storm he was walking into.

And Dekisugi? Dekisugi was no mere rival. He was a force to be reckoned with.
