Nadia pov
I can't believe the man I used to be inlove with was just trying to assault me and I had to shoot him. It was self defense I just hope he's not dead.
Nadia asks the lady to borrow her phone and call 911
911: how can I help you
Nadia: hello my names Nadia Johnson and I've just been assaulted resulting in me having to shoot my ex boyfriend. She immediately starts to break down heavier than she was already crying gasping for air
911: ma'am please calm down I can barely understand you what is the address of the location?
Nadia:it's 320 Buford street Apt 6
Nadia says still shivering in total shock. Never in a million years would she think she'd have to shoot her highschool sweetheart.
"Oh my gosh what have I done?" Nadia says outloud in tears. She looks at her trembling hands and passes out. When she wakes up she's on the ambulance truck. She immediately starts looking around for her phone. She starts panicking then it all comes back to her what happened so she then starts freaking out.
Operator: calm down honey your in good hands, it seems you had a little accident.
Nadia: what is happening to me why am I in here.
Operator: the lady who you were with says you passed out.
Nadia becomes silent and is transported to the hospital. She then arrives at the hospital  and there are already policeman waiting there for her.
Officer: ma'am are you Nadia Johnson?
Nadia: yes, I called you guys it's been an assault at my house.
Officer: that's why we are here I'm going to have to ask you to put your hands behind your back you are being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Nadia: WHAT! HE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE
Officer: he's saying you told him to come over and then shot him once he walked into the door.
Nadia: well can I make a phone call?
Officer: you'll be able to call once you get to the station.
Nadia nods in disbelief and the officers handcuff her. They drive about 20 minutes out and arrive at the police station. They walk her to the interrogation room and hand her a phone. With tears rolling down her face she calls jasmine.
Nadia: jasmine I need help big time.
She then begins to sob at the reality that she's really in jail being accused of something she didn't do all for protecting herself.
Jasmine: girlll what happened!
Nadia: Adrian was waiting for me after I dropped everybody off.... He forced his way in and chased me around the house... it was self defense but they are now claiming he's sayingb I invited him over and shot him when he walked in... I DIDNT INVITE HIM OVER JASMINE I TOLD HIM IT WAS OVER! Nadia screams she's starting to get  more and upset because this was no way this was happening to her.
Jasmine: girl you shot his ass! I know you had to be terrified for your life you're not even that kind of person.
Nadia: he had someone following me all day Jasmine! All fucking day! He had someone at the club he had someone follow me and watch me fuck Jaheim in the car he was invading my privacy this whole time!
Jasmine: are you sure Nadia, what if it's just a coincidence ?
Nadia: Jasmine whose side are you on!? You're my girl you know me ! HE TOLD ME THIS WHEN HE CAME OVER!
Jasmine: okok girl I understand I cannot believe this is happening to you right now! Yk how bad this is gonna affect the other girls. I'm glad you called me to relay the news, I just don't know how I'm going to tell them or what we are going to do. But you know I got your back sis it's only us forever us! I'm going to get you out of there.
The officer comes in and tells Nadia it's times up on the phone.
Nadia: I love you so much I love all you girls...just incase I won't be here in a long time take care of my dog please take care of the other girls because they aren't as strong as you. Tell my mom I love her. Nadia then hangs up the phone without awaiting a response from Jasmine and hands the officer the phone he sits down and proceeds with interrogation.
Officer: so start from the beginning tell me about your day .
Nadia: okay so during the day Adrian wanted to meet up talk to me about why we haven't been talking for a week now. I haven't heard from him or talked to him for a whole week and a half prior to that . He wanted to meet at Olive Garden so we did and I barely let him get a word out before I let him know I don't care about his excuses and it's over . My friends can vouch for that because they have been with me all day before I dropped them off at night after I left the club. Me and my girls then left to pick out outfits at rue 21. We left there and went to my house to get ready and then went to the club. During the club I even went to the car with a friend which is Adrian's Bestfriend.... He had someone watching us while I was there the whole entire time.
Officer: now how do you know that?
Nadia: he told me when he came over.
Officer: so I'm hearing from the officers that picked you up that you didn't invite him over is that correct?
Nadia: that is correct. He was already waiting for me at my door once we left the club.
Officer: and what time would you say that was?
Nadia: we left the club at 2 am and then I dropped all the girls off by the time I got home it was like 2:30. We all live close so it didn't take much time.
Officer: so when you arrive to the house what happened.
Nadia: he was there waiting for me....he started talking and I didn't want to hear it I told him I was done...he then started getting angry he started telling me how he had someone watching me and how dare I give his pussy away.
Officer: what is he referring too?
Nadia: I had sex with his bestfriend.. in his car
Officer: ok proceed
In the meantime the officer is taking notes of everything she's saying.
Meanwhile at the hospital officers question Adrian POV

The doctor walks in and lets him know what happened to him.
Doctor : Alright Adrian so it looks like you were just grazed on your side, two more inches to the right and you would've been actually punctured.
Adrian face almost turns into a frown. He needed to be more injured to sell his story. To the right are the officers and they start questioning him.
He then begins to tell the officers lies and pretend like he's so hurt. It just so happens he was only grazed because of how bad Nadia was shaking.
Officer: Hello Adrian I am officer thomas and this is my partner officer francis. Do you know why we are here today?
Adrian: I think so
Officer: we are here due to a phone call from Nadia your ex girlfriend on an assault case you were involved in. His eyes start tearing up for the theatrics.
Adrian: I can't believe she'd invite me over to try and kill me. It all happened so fast. She was drunk and she called me from a private number, she then told me she would love to work things out and for me to come over. It's about 2 something so I make it there before she does and I wait at the door. We walk into the house and she pulls out a gun on me and just shoots me.
The officers are taking notes as he speaks
Officer: so your saying she invited you over correct?
Adrian: yes that's right and I didn't even want to go but I'm still inlove with her I can't believe she'd do this to me this is not her character.
Back at the station Nadia is in the interrogation room frantic nervous scared and sick to her stomach. She keeps saying the same things to the officers over and over and it still appears they don't believe her.
Officer: it's just not making sense to me. I'm hearing he broke up with you and was trying to stay away from you for a week and you invited him over Nadia. When we check these phone records they aren't going to show you called him is it?
Nadia: officer I swear on my life, no matter how much I hated that man for all of this I would never hurt a soul you can ask anybody.
The officer then lets Nadia know he'll be back and walks away . The officers then discuss the matter
And come back with handcuffs.
Officer: Nadia I'm going to need to put your hands behind your back.
Nadia: I was protecting myself, are yall taking me to jail?
Nadia asks in a shaky tone. The officer then proceeds to handcuff her and read her, her rights.
Officer: you have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. Nadia begins to cry and shake her head they then photograph her and take her clothes.
Nadia: am I able to make another phone call?
Officer: you'll be able too once your booked.

Jasmine: guys I need everyone to answer the FaceTime it's a SOS
Jasmine then FaceTimes Erica and Kiera they immediately answer.
Jasmine: guys Nadia is in jail... last night apparently Adrian was waiting for her when she got home and she shot him.
Erica: what do you mean waiting for her?
Kiera: that's going to be a hard case it's going to be a lot of he say she say we have to help our girl and bring her home.
Jasmine: yes he was waiting for her in the hallway until she came home, after she dropped us off.
Erica: man we should've been with her. She can't go to jail she has so much going for herself right now.
Kiera: we gone get our girl out ! It's only us remember.
The girls say bye to eachother and the phone call hangs up. Nadias been booked and she calls her mom

Nadia's mom: hello who is this?
Nadia: it's me ma, I'm in jail.
Nadia pauses not being able to get her words out.
Nadia's mom: jail? What did you do baby?
Nadia: they are trying to keep me here because Adrian lied to them and told them I assaulted him when he came to my house and I broke up with him the day before. I just don't understand why they are so quick to believe him when I'm the one who lives there.
Nadia's mom: do you know how much your bail is honey?
Nadia: they just got me today I haven't even been to court.
Nadia's mom: I knew I never liked that boy! You will be out soon honey don't worry. Me and your girls got your back you know this. Just don't talk anymore and don't panic you will be set free soon.
Nadia's mom is a lawyer. She knows her daughter wouldn't ever just harm somebody so she's going to represent her.

The phone then hangs up and  Nadia  slams the phone.
She looks at her new orange clothes and puts her hands in her face. The officer then walks her to her cell and she just cries until she falls asleep.
