His mobs stood silent, awaiting further orders. The Skeletons relaxed their bows, the Creeper stood at the ready, and the Iron Golem stood in place.

Nate turned away from the bodies, walking toward one of the abandoned satchels. He rifled through it, pulling out a handful of paper money....which he thought he was a thousand pesos before realizing it wasn't any kind of money that he could recognize.

There was also a crude dagger, and some dried meat- no wait, those are rotten.

Worthless junk, mostly, but the food would be useful. He pocketed what he could and tossed the rest aside.

He glanced around the battlefield. The bandits were nothing but corpses now, and he felt no guilt. They would've done the same to him, maybe worse.

And in this world, he wasn't about to play the role of some hero who let his enemies walk away just because they begged.

They would probably come back with more in tow, so he would not let that happen and end them, here, and now.

No loose ends. No second chances.

Turning on his heel, Nate continued deeper into the wilderness, his mobs following close behind. There was still work to be done, and he wasn't going to waste any more time.

So yeah, here he was now at his cave base.

The entrance was designed to be hidden, with tall grass and dirt forming a dome that makes it look like a hidden cave.

Inside though..

To one side, there's a bed pushed against the wall, its red blanket standing out against the stone surroundings. More chests and barrels are stacked neatly, ensuring that resources are organized and accessible.

The floor is a mix of stone, wooden planks, and occasional regular Stine blocks.

There is also  a large chest for storage, and an anvil for repairs, all placed within easy reach. Two furnaces are setup sits against one wall, with a small campfire nearby, providing both warmth and a place to cook food if needed.

A lantern hangs from the ceiling, casting a warm, flickering glow that keeps the space well-lit without being harsh.

Near the entrance, vines and moss creep along the walls, giving the base a natural, almost hidden feel, like a shelter carved into the land itself rather than something built from scratch.

Nate sighed, tired from the event's that happened and just flopped into the bed, an ice block was also under the bed to make the place cooler.

That night, as rain came and soaked the world outside, as the rain drops raced towards the Earth.

Nate lay on his bed, staring up at the uneven stone ceiling of his cave base. The warm flicker of the lantern cast shifting shadows, the occasional crackle of the furnace breaking the silence.

His hands rested behind his head as he exhaled slowly, letting his mind wander.

So... now what? Like, For real, now what?

His role as a boss was over before it even really began, right?, just One fight- one battle-and that was it. No grand scheme, no endless waves of challengers coming to take him down, no real chance to solidify himself as something more.

Actually, why was he even here??

What is his role in this.... What was it?

[Collaboration Event Between Minecraft and the gacha tower defense game Arknights]

....Yeah, a collaboration.

And yet here he is, living on a (honestly comfortable) cave.

....Damn, I'm, Actually can I even go back home?

[... Unfortunately, due to the world spawn not being found, you are unable to return home]

.....Fuck....

Nate closed his eyes, letting out a shuddering breath, as memories flowed through him, god those...

[Hey, Kid- boss..]

..Hmm?

[.....I've been calling caves my home~]

'Are you for real right now?'

[Mhm]

... I'm living in the myth's.

[The Spiders and the bones, The Creepers with their hiss~]

'..The Night's when undead roam'

[Enderman that persist~]

'..And clearly none of them will match against my feats-'

[And I just know where I should go, I'm taking all this risk~]

'I'm just hunting for that fighter, everyone calls him a glitch'

[An Antihero, revenge is my bliss~]

'What fight have I got into?'

[A clash of magic blitz]

'...I'll be living just like this.'

[Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo]

...

[Doo Doo Doo, Doo Doo]

..

[Doo Doo Doo, Doo Doo Doo]

'...Oh I'll be living just like this'

[Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo~]

[Doo Doo Doo, Doo Doo]

[Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo]

'Oh I'll be living just this..'

At That Night, Nate's first night in Terra, he felt just a little bit calmer.
