At 10:30 AM,

Jungkook finally woke up. The headache had subsided a little, but his eyes still burned from sleepiness. He glanced around the room to find it empty.

Taehyung wasn't there.

Smirking, he headed to the bathroom. Time to tease the minister a little today.

After a shower, Jungkook got ready in one go. He had to stop by the office. That troublemaker minister needed to be dealt with. As soon as he picked up his phone and dialed, Taehyung answered immediately.

--" Were you missing me, wifey? Just one day without me, and you're already crazy about your hubby! You know, you love me a little too much.

Jungkook sighed in frustration. This man would never change.

--" Where are you?

--" I stepped out for a bit. I'll be home soon. And don't even think about leaving the house, wifey. I'm in a very romantic mood these days. If you're not home, who will I shower all this love on? I'm not like Dad, after all, I don't have two wives.

Jungkook's irritation skyrocketed. Without another word, he hung up and left for the office. There was a big deal to finalize today, and he still had an hour in hand.

When Jungkook abruptly ended the call, Taehyung frowned. His wifey just hung up after hearing such romantic words?
Truly, an act against humanity! His Jungkook was so heartless.

Meanwhile, a personal assistant was to be hired for Jungkook. For the time being, Yoongi was busy with some urgent work, so an assistant would be recruited. Taehyung had given Yeonjun the responsibility of conducting the interviews thoroughly.

Rushing into the office in hurry, Yeonjun suddenly bumped into someone and immediately grabbed his forehead. The impact worsened his already foul mood. Given his height, whoever managed to hit his forehead must have been just as tall. But as he looked up, he saw a cute looking boy glaring at him, standing on the heel of his feet.

Without giving him much attention, Yeonjun spoke in a harsh voice,

--" Take off your shoes.

--" What? (Stunned)

Yeonjun snapped,

--" DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME? I SAID, TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES.

The boy was completely dumbfounded. But, suppressing his anger, he took off his shoes and held them in front of Yeonjun's face. Yeonjun casually took a pair of scissors from the reception desk and cut all the straps of the shoes.

The boy stared at him with wide eyes, completely in shock.

--" Never come to the office wearing such boots again. Why wear something you can't handle?

The boy gritted his teeth in anger and then, throwing his ruined shoes on the floor, shouted,

--" Do you not get food at home? Why did you have to smash your forehead into mine first thing in the morning? You didn't even see a whole human standing in front of you? If your eyes don't work properly, then just hand them over to me. I'll donate them to an eye hospital!

Yeonjun was speechless. No one in this office ever dared to talk back to him like that. And now, this little boy was scolding him? The audacity!

--" I'm honestly shocked by your courage, kiddo. Do you even know who you're talking to? Parents these days are so careless. A kindergarten kid has ended up in our office, and they have no clue.
