*3rd POV**
Nakime was up as early as ever.
It was about six in the evening, the sky was a dim shade, without much of the sunlight.
It was safe for them to walk out if they wanted to. She wouldn't have a problem but she couldn't help wondering about Kokushibou though...She was feeling giddy.
A lot more giddy than she had felt in a long time. The thought of actually walking outside felt surreal to her."Oh dear" She sighs as she stands in front of the door upstairs. Specifically Kokushibou's room.
She knew she was being to eager but she couldn't help it. She looked outside the only window in the upstairs hallway and saw that the sun had completely set. It was time for them to go.
She twiddled with her fingers for a small while and finally summed up the courage to knock on the door. Just as she was about knock, the door pulled open and he stood there, with a confused look. She squeaked and stepped back, not expecting him to just suddenly appear.
"Nakime" He acknowledged and she internally shivered. She'd never get used to him calling her name.
"Good morning Upper-I mean Kokushibou"
She says, still twiddling her fingers. He noticed how jittery she was so he stepped out and shut his door behind him, "You could have just come in. Instead of standing there"
"Wouldn't I be invading your privacy?" She asks and he brushes past her,
"It's not like I haven't invaded yours"
She blinks at this statement, and then blushes remembering that he had entered her room before in the infinity castle. She then follows him downstairs, into the kitchen.
"Would you like to eat something before we go?"Kokushibou takes a handkerchief from the countertop and ties it around the two pairs of his eyes on his forehead, "No. I'm not hungry now, however, we can eat when we get back"
Nakime blushed at his tone. It conveyed that he wasn't going to eat unless she did.
Again, his gentle nature rattles her."Shall we?" He asks, stepping out of the kitchen and standing by the door. She nods and follows him, walking out of the living room door as he held it open. The two demons left the house and started moving to the more commercial parts of the entertainment district.
People moved about, chattering and selling things. The streets were crowded, but still had enough space for pedestrians to walk freely. Nakime gaped at the streets lit up with lantern posts.
It was so hectic, and yet so pretty to her.
So this was how market places looked like.
Kokushibou, on the other hand, was not fazed. He looked forward and walked, with his hands folded under the sleeves of his haori. Nakime, however, constantly gave by-passers small 'hello's' and 'hi's' and ogled most of the commodities on the streets.
He watched her silently, savouring the pure look of innocence on her face.
"I didn't know food stalls still went on at night" She says, looking at a small ramen shop that had a good amount of customers.
"That means you really don't go out" He replies, making her rub her neck sheepishly.
"Yeah" She murmurs, "I can't........even remember if I used to go out, before turning into a demon"
Kokushibou's ears unconsciously perked at the sound of her past life. It was a topic he didn't think much about, because most demons never remembered their past lives.
