'What's so good about love
Is it really something as pure as doves
Because I found it nothing but whispered lies
Based on promises that quickly die
It is a sweet illusion and nothing's true
Oh I so regret it, I bitterly rue
It only gives pain, It just brings hurt
It is total madness and no trust
So I ask, this mystery to be absolved,
What really is so good about love.'

'What's so good about love.' She read the last line of the novel that had come to an end with the little poem.

"What's so good about love?" She repeated the question. Or was it a statement she wondered as she saw no question mark at the end but a full stop with which the novel had come to an end.

A sad smile touched her lips. Yeah, what exactly is so good about it.

That was a question she didn't have the answer to. She settled back in her seat, looking at the lush green scenery along the long road. She could hear the kids play and run around the big oak tree. The sun peeked from behind the leaves casting patterns of light and shadow on the checkered blanket laid neatly under the tree. The lady laid out the delicacies she had prepared for the outing and the man took upon the task of setting up the tent. The kids' laughter echoed, and the couple watched them with fond smiles before exchanging sweet glances at each other. They looked so in love, so much so that even the god of love would have felt a little jealous.

But suddenly, grey clouds covered the sky and the sunlight dimmed. A cool breeze rustled through the trees, before picking its pace to a strong wind.
The playful squeals of the children now ceased. The air grew heavy and silence became unsettling.
The sky, once a vibrant blue, had now started darkening. And with the sound of the thunder, the smiling faces started to blur, and laughter and voices were fading quickly before it all got completely lost to the darkness.

"Are you alright ms?" The driver asked as he looked at her from the rearview mirror for a few seconds before returning to her reflection.
"You seem a little pale."

"Ah, yes! I'm alright." Driver's words brought her mind back to the present. And though she said she was fine her erratically beating heart was saying otherwise. She tried to shove those memories back in the corner of her mind from where they wouldn't resurface ever again, hopefully.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. After she regained her composure she asked the driver, "How long would it take to reach the address?"

"We're almost there. 5 more minutes." He smiled back at her from the rearview mirror.

She returned the smile as she reclined back in her seat, this time trying to focus on the passing trees hoping that it would keep her mind busy.

As the car took another turn, a house came into view. It looked fairly large, well, it was large, she acknowledged as she wondered just how many people might be living in such a big house. But anyone would agree that the big white villa looked so ethereal that it might have been an illusion. And she loved it at first sight. The lush greenery was just adding to the beauty of the place.

She paid the driver and then turned and marched up the cobbled walkway to the mansion. She took in a deep steadying breath at the door, pausing before she rang the doorbell. "It'd be an easy job. I can do it for sure." She told herself as she put on her best professional smile. She rang the doorbell and waited.

A minute later, the door opened, and a man who looked to be in his early fifties stood in front of her.
"Hello, I'm Freya Cooper. Dr. Nathan sent me here for the position of the caregiver."
