if there's a god, he hates jisung.

that's the only explanation for why jisung is here.

stuck at a stupid school festival, surrounded by annoying people, with minho.

why?

because the universe is evil.

the worst part?

jisung isn't even supposed to be near minho. their friend groups have been successfully avoiding each other all day.

until, somehow, jisung ended up alone-which was already bad.

but now?

now, he's trapped inside the haunted house attraction with minho.

alone.

because his friends abandoned him.

because life hates him.

minho sighs dramatically, shoving his hands in his pockets. "you're actually so dumb. why would you follow me in here?"

"i didn't follow you." jisung snaps. "i was pushed in."

minho shrugs. "not my problem."

jisung glares. "you are my problem."

minho smirks, tilting his head. "i know."

jisung's eye twitches.

and then-the lights flicker.

the air shifts.

jisung forgets how to breathe.

because oh god, the attraction started.

jisung isn't scared.

(he is.)

but he is not about to let minho see him get scared.

so he takes a deep breath. stands up straight. and walks forward.

...until something moves in the corner.

jisung flinches.

minho sees it.

"oh my god," minho grins. "you're scared."

"shut up." jisung hates his voice for shaking.

minho laughs. full-on laughs.

"i'm not scared," jisung insists, speed-walking ahead.

except, in true horror movie fashion-he turns a corner and immediately runs into a ghost.

and by ghost, he means a guy in a mask.

jisung screams.

but the worst part?

he doesn't just scream.

he grabs minho's arm.

and minho?

he stares at jisung holding onto him like he's seeing a miracle.

"...you're clinging to me," minho states, grinning.

jisung lets go immediately. "I WASN'T."

"you literally grabbed me."

"NO I DIDN'T."

minho leans in slightly, smug as ever. "you wanna hold my hand too?"

jisung wants to die.

if there's one thing jisung is good at, it's arguing.

if there's one thing jisung is bad at, it's not saying dumb shit while arguing.
