IN THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER

after a long ride we finally arrived in paris...

yet again we were being separated...

"i'm gonna miss you so much !" he said hugging as soon as we got in the underground parking lot .

"stop! you're basically gonna make me cry !" i said hugging him back .

"at least we have instagram DMs!" he said .

"yeah , at least !" i say sounding not so confident.

"cmon , i promise ill come this summer when school finishes !" he said .

"you better !" i said . ki

we then got out of the van as we arrived to their airbnb in the 18th arrondissement of paris . i went up one last time to pick up my remaining clothes and said my last goodbyes to the kids and georgina as cristiano and cris offered to drive me home in cristiano's car .

"goodbye mija , i'm gonna miss you so much" gio said as she kissed both of my cheeks.

"i love you and your family so much!" i say hugging her before going in the parking lot where cristiano and cris were waiting for me .

"sorry if i took so long i couldn't part form gio!" i said as i jogged towards them .

"nah it's okay we're glad you feel welcomed in the family" cristiano says .

he put my bag in the truck before telling me to get in the car .
i sat in the backseat next to him.

i was feeling so sad leaving them when it just began , but i had to . when i'm lonely ,i look at the window and cris noticed that and put his arm around my shoulder and reassured me .

"i'm never gonna leave you!" he said .

"thank you" i whispered.

after a 35-minute ride , we finally arrived in my neighbourhood so i had to get out of the car .

cristiano got out and hugged me in a fatherly way.

"bye cristiano, thank you for being so nice to me !" i said in his embrace.

"thank you for treating me like a human!" he whispered to me , which i thought was kinda sad .

we pulled out and , cris walked me to the door .

"oh i'm gonna miss you !" he said hugging me properly.

"stop! you're gonna make me cry ! you're the best person i've ever met !" i said .

"i'll call you as soon as i can !" he said before planting a kiss on my forehead.

then i eventually got home , where i found my dad sleeping in his room while my mom was in town with her friend .

i quietly snuck into the bathroom , picked my pyjamas , showered and got into them .
