Click... *Static noise*

"Oh, for the love of- Carl!! T.V's broken again!" called out the old man in his apartment.

Whoosh!

Boom!

A white blur outside the pass across the window with no one knowing what it was. It flew between the buildings of the apartment homes and shot itself into the sky.  The color scheme of a suit of yellow and white, lower-case letter "I" on his chest, and a flowing white cape. Invincible, that was the name Mark took from his inspiration to the two figures that represented its meaning best.

Mark cut through the thick cumulonimbus clouds like knife through butter. Droplets of water splatter on the lenses of his mask, but it was insignificant to be an issue. Break out of the cloud cover had him flying over a populated city. A flag of blue with a white "X" and a red cross flap against the blowing wind. On this day, however, he couldn't help but wonder if he could do more hero work with the remaining time he has.

"Yawn... ugh, how come he could do this all day and not get bored?" he asked himself regarding a bald man.

But that thought didn't last long when he flew by the Great Bell of London. He hit the breaks in mid-flight and saw the hands on the clock tower. It was past three in the afternoon.

"Almost lunch back home? Crud..."

Whoosh... Boom!

He zipped to the sky and turned a fluffy could into a wisp of nothing. The boom also shocked the cooing pigeons on the tower roof and got paralyzed. Almost falling off the edge if it wasn't for its other friends stopping them.

Back with our hero, he flew fast and passing by a commercial flight. Waving his hand just outside the window where he could see a little girl holding a teddy bear. He over took the plane with ease and torpedoes at a high altitude.

The blue sky turned black round him and he then plunge into a dive over a vast expanse of forest. He glowed red as air heats up around him and vanishes just in time for him to pull up again and glide above the tree tops.

"Yawn... w-where was it again?"

He slowed his descend and a glint on his lenses took his attention. From between towering mountain and deep into crevices, grids of light sweep Marks body before a hidden door covered in a shell of stone opened.

"Welcome, Invincible. Enjoy your stay... beep" a robotic voice spoke in a cheery tone.

"Thanks..." he replied and rubbed his eyes.

A once empty space revealed a metallic door that leads to a hallway. A corridor filled with nested turrets of glowing ionic guns. Barrels trained at the very entrance the hero came into. He passed them by quick and easy and ended up coming to a wall of cold alloy.
