If there was one universal truth about Karina Yu, it was this:

She liked normal people.

She liked predictability.

She liked things that made sense.

Winter Kim made no sense.

And that was a problem.

Because somehow, Karina found herself thinking about her. A lot.

Weird Habit #4: The Spontaneous Disappearances

Karina was 100% convinced that Winter had a superpower.

And that power was vanishing into thin air.

It happened all the time.

One second, Winter would be standing beside her—

The next? Gone.

No warning. No explanation. Just GONE.

And every single time, Karina’s reaction was the same:

“WHERE THE HELL DID SHE GO?!”

Giselle was the first to calmly accept it. "She does that a lot. Just let it happen."

Ningning was unbothered. "She’ll come back. Eventually."

Karina, on the other hand? Absolutely NOT.

She needed answers. Immediately.

So one day, she followed Winter.

Just to see where she went.

And she found her—

Standing alone in the middle of a grocery aisle, staring intensely at a box of cereal.

Karina’s eye twitched. "What. Are you. Doing."

Winter didn’t even flinch. "Deciding if this cereal is worth my emotional investment."

Karina blinked. "What."

Winter turned to her, completely serious. "I can only commit to one cereal at a time. If I choose this, I have to finish the whole box before buying another. It’s a very serious decision."

Karina wanted to scream.

Winter wasn’t vanishing.

She was just running off to do weird things in peace.

Weird Habit #5: The Sleeping Anywhere, Anytime Ability

It happened at a café.

Karina was mid-sentence, talking about something important (probably).

And Winter?

Asleep.

Right there.

In the middle of the conversation.

Karina stared. "Are you serious?"

No response.

"Winter?"

Still nothing.

Karina glanced at Ningning, who just sipped her drink and shrugged. "She does that. If she’s comfortable, she’ll just… pass out."

Karina looked back at Winter.

Peaceful. Oblivious. Absolutely knocked out.

And for some stupid reason, Karina felt soft.

Which was ridiculous.

But she still found herself gently nudging Winter’s arm instead of yelling.

"Hey. Wake up, dummy."

Winter groaned, barely opening her eyes. "Huh?"

Karina sighed. "At least pretend to care when I talk."

Winter yawned. "I do care. Your voice just makes me feel sleepy."

Karina wanted to be mad.

She really did.

But instead, she just ordered an extra coffee and slid it toward Winter.

Winter blinked at her.

Then, for the first time ever, she gave Karina a tiny, grateful smile.

And Karina’s brain short-circuited.

Weird Habit #6: The Twitter Overthinking Spiral

It started with a random thought.

Karina had posted something on Twitter. Just a casual, harmless “I feel so tired today lol” kind of tweet.

Winter liked it.

Then unliked it.

Then liked it again.

Then unliked it again.

Karina saw it all happen in real-time.

And before she could stop herself, she DM’d Winter.

Karina👹: "Are you okay??"

Winter🧊: "Yes."

Karina👹: "Then why did you like and unlike my tweet four times."

Winter🧊: "I was deciding if I should respond to it or not."

Karina👹: "AND?"

Winter🧊: "I overthought it and panicked."

Karina sighed.

This weirdo.

This annoying, socially-inept, cereal-overthinking weirdo.

Karina couldn’t believe it.

She was starting to like her more and more.
