"Auggie?"

Auggie turned sharply, halting in his tracks along the side of the lake just outside town. "What's wrong, sweetheart?"

I shook my head with a grin. "Nothing's wrong. I'm happy."

Auggie seemed confused, but I'm not. I wanted to spend a little more time with him to see if he really would be a good daddy to me.

I reached up and hugged his neck, keeping him close. Auggie's heartbeat was loud, which was cute. He was holding me firmly, making sure I was safe while he glanced around the quiet park.

"Sweetheart, what would you like to do?"

"Um, I wanna hug a little more. Can we go look for pretty rocks on the shore after that?"

"Of course, Allie."

I smiled happily. "Auggie, if I were to do anything bad or dangerous, how would you scold me?"

His breath hitched. "You're not planning to do anything like that, are you?"

"Nope! Just in case, though."

Auggie heaved a sigh and moved back a bit, then cupped my face. His dark brown eyes and gentle smile made me feel happy while his subtle strength as he cupped my face brought the feeling of "safety" to mind.

"I would tell you how much your family, friends, and I worry about you and, that while you did something wrong, none of us dislike you for it. We will still love you and care about you. I would also explain what you did wrong and why it was bad, then give an appropriate punishment if it was beyond deserving a simple scolding."

I hummed, then smiled. "Okay, Auggie."

Auggie looked even more confused, but I merely grinned and kissed his cheek. "Let's go find pretty rocks now!"

Auggie let me lead him down to the water, but he caught me when I tripped over a tree root. "Careful, Allie!"

I smiled to myself after I said sorry. Auggie will be a really great daddy for me. That conclusion was glued in my mind when he helped me find some really pretty rocks that sparkled in the sun.

August was watching with worry when I took off my socks and shoes to step into the water. It was kind of cold, but the slippery rocks felt like a nice foot massage as I waded knee-deep into the lake. I blew my cute man a kiss, still happy that my little side could recognize that my boyfriend would be a great daddy dom.

"Are you sure you don't want to get your feet wet, babe?" I called out, then grinned when he shook his head. "Why not? I'll be making more than your feet wet later!"

His strangled groan of embarrassment made me laugh. I splashed around a bit more and then returned to the shore. August swept me up the instant I grabbed my shoes (with my socks stuffed inside), so I chuckled as he carried me up to one of the benches on the footpath that overlooks the lake. He plopped down and cuddled my upper body, then started to scold me for teasing him so much. I grinned and pecked his lips, moving my feet to dry on the bench in the filtered sunshine while we cuddled.

August heaved a deep breath and released it, resting his cheek against my head. "I'm so happy." he whispered. "Excluding the whole office thing, this has been one of the best days I've had in a long time."

"And aside from all of our awesome days together?"

My boyfriend chuckled. "Yeah, aside from those, too. After all, every day with my Allie is a good day."

I lifted his right hand from my waist and started to press kisses to his knuckles. August shifted slightly underneath me and I could feel his growing erection underneath my rump. He's so cute.
