ViniShah2: I think fanfics are popular because the readers are aware about the characters. Though the books are fictional, the characters are inspired from real life people which makes it easier for the audience to connect to the storyline. Honestly, I might be writing fanfics, but I enjoy reading fanfics only. I feel comfortable to see the names that I already know and adore.
