The addict and the teacher

Charlie didn't go in the next day. She couldn't face anyone and plus she couldn't move her bodies ached from the beating.

It was now Friday and she thought she better had go to school and see Jay and Alison since she hasn't seen them in a while. So she had a shower grabbed a hoodie and sweatpants and made her way to the car. She stopped off at the coffee shop 'Jesus Christ Charlie, what happened' she looked up to see a concerned looking Lauren. 'Just a fight Lauren no big deal' she put a fake smile on not worry her. Before Lauren could say anything else she grabbed her coffee and bolted towards the door.

She was late only by 10 minutes. As she had to have a blunt before coming In. Sighing she made her way down the halls, she smiled when she got to Mrs Evan's class knowing she could chill and Mrs Evan's wouldn't be a pain and shout at her for missing a few days. She walked in the class with her hood up heading for the back of the classroom. But before she could Mrs Evan's took the hood from Charlie 'no hoods Charlie you know the rules' she smiles. Her smiles quickly fade as she see the state of Charlie's face.

Charlie sits down and unpacks her books out and starts drawing. After Mrs Evan's is done speaking to the class she makes her way over to Charlie. She sits down beside her and rubs her shoulder to get her attention as she is zoned out drawing.

'Everything ok Charlie?' Mrs Evan's asked. 'Yeah all good' Charlie replied not even looking up from her book. Mrs Evan knew she was lying but she didn't want to push Charlie as she knew how she could get. So she just patted her shoulder and whispered 'you know where I am if you need to talk' with that she squeezed Charlie's shoulder and walked back to her desk.

The bell rang indicating the next lesson. 'English' Charlie muttered under her breath making her way to Mrs Cruzs room. 'Charlie man' Jay ran towards her pulling her into a big bear hug. Charlie laughed at jays antics. 'I've missed you, you don't know how boring it's been without you here. And I've been so worried you haven't called or texts. He started to ramble. Whilst Charlie just laughed. 'Calm down Jay, just needed some time to think that's all' he looked at her face 'one day we're killing John Charlie I'm telling you I'm more than happy to go to jail for it' they both laughed as they made their way to there class.

Mrs Cruz eyes shot up when she heard jays upbeat normal voice. She looked straight into Charlie's eyes. She frowned feeling a tug at her heart. 'What's Happened to her' she thought to herself. 'Right class settle down, everyone grab out your books and read chapter 5-9 please, Charlie can I have a word outside' she asked. Charlie gets up off her seat no attitude no sacarstic comments and waits out side for Mrs Cruz

'What Happened' Mrs Cruz went straight to the point. Charlie laughed. 'Just a fight it's fine' Amelia clenched her jaw knowing Charlie was lying. She could also tell that she had done drugs by her dilated pupils. And how she is probably on a come down now as she's itching her arms violently and is very fidgety.

'Charlie i am here to help you, so please answer me truthfully' Charlie laughed feeling angry and frustrated as she knew the drugs were wearing off and she was in-fact on a bad come down. 'I am telling you the truth. If you don't believe it that's on you. I don't want or need your help Mrs Cruz. So stay out of my business' 'are yous serious Charlie, you need help why can't you see that' Cruz shouts a slight crack in her voice as she spoke.

Charlie held her head as she was slowly loosing control of her anger, she looked towards Cruz and walked towards her backing her into the wall behind her. 'Don't tell me what I need' Charlie spoke through her teeth. Mrs Cruz could feel the tension rising and knew she needed to defuse the situation before Charlie blew up.
