Sodor Left for Dead [AU]: Alternative fate.

We arrived at Crovan's Gate, it was basically deserted.

We saw the remains of some zombies, they looked like they had been half eaten.
Not by zombies before they transformed, but after.

We also were suprised at first that not even the military was there, at least at first, as a single soldier showed up, shaking in fear, while pointing his weapon at us, yet having no will to shoot at us.

We wanted answers, so Richard and I questioned him as the Phil, Connor and Eric tried communicating with the Narrow Guage crew.
Apparently, the military had set base at Crovan's Gate and attempted to experiment on the zombies, as to obtain a cure, however it seems they had only caused the virus to mutate.

Not only that, but the two experiments that had gone wrong the worst included engines.
Percy and Duke had been those engines, they had been forcefully infected, after being locked with a zombie, and then experimented on.

Things got out of control quick, and the two of them became killing machines, to non-infected and infected alike, and he was the only survivour left in the entire base, as the other survivours had left.

We were about to ask more things, however we heard screaming, and upon looking outside, we were shocked to see Duncan, Rheneas, Mighty Mac and Sir Handel make their way to the station, as well as the enture group of survivours on their group, except for Bertram.

They weren't alone, as soon a familiar figure showed up. Duke.

And he wouldn't be the only one, as in front of us, Percy had appeared.
