Part 24: The Confession
Days passed, and Arienna spent more time thinking than she had ever before. Every moment with Cam felt electric, charged with intensity. Every second with Kai was comforting, filled with a tenderness that made her feel safe. How could she choose? How could she betray one for the other? Then, one evening, when the weight of her emotions became too much to bear, Arienna decided to talk to her parents. They had always been there for her, and she needed someone to help guide her through the chaos inside her heart.
Sitting down at the kitchen table, she nervously explained everything—about her feelings for both boys, about the way they made her feel, and about how torn she was. Her mom and dad listened quietly, not interrupting, just letting her vent.
When she finished, her mom gave her a reassuring smile. "Arienna, you have to trust yourself," she said gently. "Your heart will guide you to the right decision. You don't have to rush it."
Her dad nodded in agreement. "Take your time, sweetheart. You're going to figure it out."
That conversation gave Arienna a little peace of mind. She knew she didn't have to make a decision just yet. But the tension was still there—every moment, every glance exchanged with Cam or Kai.
