A month passes and there's no other available position in other departments so Tim has to stay Lucy's T.O so for that reason they haven't started dating yet
But ever since Ashley has started taking care of Ava Lucy noticed Ava has become less cubby then she was from when they first moved  Lucy thought it was Ava just losing her baby fat but one day when Lucy had to take Ava to get her shots and a check up they weighed her and made Lucy and Ava wait in a room
Once the doctor came
She said
Dr- hi miss Chen I would like to talk to you about a few things
L- sure what is it
Dr- ok so Ava is underweight for a 3 year old
L- what no that's no possible
Dr- are you responsible for her or who
L- look I'm a police officer and I have a babysitter watch her from 7AM-6:30PM
Dr- ok so that's a long time for Ava to get dehydrated or starved by the sitter
L- I did a background check on her she's a lifeguard she's a good person
Dr- she can appear that way but you never now i suggest you invest in baby or nanny cams just in case you know or hire a new sitter because Ava weighs 25 pounds and the average for a 3 year old is 30 -35
L- ok I will save for the nanny or baby cams it seems like a good investment either way
Dr- yes it really is
Dr- ok now Ava how's to get her shots mom you can hold her and cover her eyes
L- ok
The doctor put her gloves on cleaned the spot and put the shot
Dr- ok all done
Ava started crying
Dr- I know I'm sorry little one ,mom she can have baby Tylenol and of course popsicles
L- ok thank you
Dr- of course you can make the next follow up at front
L- ok see you
Dr- bye see you soon
Lucy makes the appointment and leaves she goes to target to look at baby monitors and finds the perfect ones with cameras installed and she of course gets Ava a sweet treat while a check out she sees Tim
T- hey Lucy hi Ava what are y'all doing here here
L- Ava just got her shots so she needs a sweet treat and I think the babysitter has been starving her cause she's underweight so getting baby monitors with cameras to hopefully catch her
T- that's horrible I thought she was losing weight but I thought it was just baby weight
L-me too ok I have to go before her popsicles melt
T- ok bye guys
L- bye
Ava just waved bye to Tim
Shortly after Lucy checked out and got in her car she arrived at her apartment and while she set up the baby monitors she had Ava watching kid cartoons and eating a popsicle
