Before you start reading the storyline,
please read this, to help you understand.In chapter seven, this scenario will
be GenSai. This timeline is in season
two and they both known each other
for about four months. Saitama helps
an elderly lady and in return gives him
candy as a thank you. Little did he know
that friendly gesture would change
everything on the big day of
Valentine's Day. Where love
is shown with chocolate.
Is days like these meant
to be so lovey dovey?In this story plot Saitama is a hero still
and same role with Genos. Both are
heros and nothing of them is changed
or their appearance. This story is pretty
short and simple but still worth reading.
Inspired by the day of valentines. So why
not write a quick short story about them?
Btw usually I write stories that are 7,000
words minimum. The maximum I did
recently was over 12,000 words.
Of course it doesn't matter how
long the story is as long as
it's written well. Anyways,
enjoy checking it out!The story will now begin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Young man," The frail voice called out,
interrupting Saitama's contemplative
stroll through the bustling street of
City-E. He looked over to see an
elderly lady, her eyes gleaming
with a spark of determination that
belied her shaky gait. She clutched
a small old bag of with both hands,
her knuckles white with the effort.
"Could you help me cross the road?"
Saitama, ever the hero, albeit one without
much to do in a world devoid of real danger,
took a step forward. "Sure, no problem.
I don't mind carrying that for you."
he said, his tone casual despite the
urgency in her eyes. The traffic was
thick, a river of honking cars and
impatient cyclists, but he didn't bat
an eye. With a gentle nod from the
elderly lady, he took the bag from
herafter she allows him to hold
the old bag. "Let's go," he murmured,
leading the way across the asphalt.
Once they reached the safety of
the sidewalk, she looked up at
him with a smile that made her
wrinkles dance. "Thank you,
Young man." The elderly said,
her voice quavering. "It's so
kind of you to help an
old lady like me."Saitama shrugged it off, his usual
stoic demeanor in place. "It's nothing.
Just doing what anyone else would do,"
He said, handing back her old purse.
She takes it back and searched through
her purse and pulled out a small,
heart-shaped box of chocolates.
"Here," She said, pressing it into
his palm. "Give this to someone
special tomorrow. It's Valentine's
Day, after all." The lady's eyes twinkled
as she turned away, leaving Saitama
standing there with the chocolates in
his hand as a parting gift. He glanced
down at the box, then up at the chaotic
street, and sighed. Who was he going
to give these to? He didn't have any
romantic interests, and the only
people who might appreciate
it was just himself alone,
it's not like he really
cared to celebrate
Valentine's Day.The next day, Saitama found himself
at home, the chocolates still left on the
tv stand. Genos had been Saitama's disciple
in his never-ending quest to get revenge
on the mad cyborg, and maybe, just maybe,
he was "special" enough. The apartment
was a mess, but as usual Genos had been
trying to clean up, his robotic arms moving
with a grace that belied their mechanical
nature. The TV played in the background, broadcasting some nonsense about love
and romance that seemed to have taken
over every channel since today was
Valentine's Day. "Hey Genos,"
Saitama called out, tossing the
chocolates onto the table after
grabbing it from behind the tv
stand where it was hidden.
"Want some?" Saitama offers,
as he thinks it wouldn't hurt
to share the candy.Genos's head snapped up, his eyes wide.
"For me, Sensei? I didn't anticipate the
possibility of receiving such a gift. I am
truly grateful and delighted. I shall give
you a present in return." Genos asked,
his voice a mix of shock and excitement
as Genos gratefully accepts the gift.
Saitama shrugs again, his expression
unreadable. "Don't worry about it,"
he said, his voice calm. "You don't
need to get me anything, Genos.
And besides, it's just candy."
The cyborg's cheeks flushed a
shade of pink that was probably
close to embarrassment. "Thank you,
Sensei. It's very thoughtful of you."
He murmured, his hand
hovering over the box.
