Nick and Matt are way too amused by my entire existence today.
I'm standing in front of my closet, overthinking my outfit when Nick strolls in, smirking.
"You tryna look good for someone?" he teases.
Matt pops his head in. "Yeah, why do you care what you're wearing? You never care."
I grab a hoodie and throw it at them. "Shut up."
Nick dodges it. "Bro, just admit it. You're nervous."
"I'm not nervous," I grumble, pulling on a sweatshirt. "It's literally just a collab."
Matt hums. "Mhm. Sure."
I roll my eyes, grabbing my phone. "Whatever. Let's go."

When we get to the filming spot—a rented studio space—it's already pure chaos.
Sunday and Eli are arguing over what snacks to get from the vending machine while noah was just admiring eli . Demitra is sprawled out on the couch, scrolling through her phone like she owns the place.
The second she looks up and makes eye contact with me, I swear time slows down.
She grins. "Oh wow. You're real."
I blink. "Uh. Yeah?"
She laughs, sitting up. "I mean, the internet did ship-edit us together before we even met, so this is kinda insane."
"Yeah, tell me about it." I sit down, trying to act normal.
Nick, Matt, and the others start setting up the cameras, but Demitra stays next to me, tilting her head. "You nervous?"
I scoff. "No."
She smirks. "You totally are."
I roll my eyes, reaching for a bottle of water on the table, but at the exact same time, she reaches for her phone.
Our hands bump.
It's nothing. Literally nothing. But for some reason, my brain decides to short-circuit.
Her fingers are warm, and I feel this stupid little jolt from the contact. I pull away too fast, nearly knocking over my water.
Demitra raises an eyebrow. "You good?"
"Yep." My voice cracks. Traitor.
She just grins, way too entertained by my awkwardness.
The others finally finish setting up, and Nick claps his hands. "Alright, idiots, let's film."
Demitra leans in slightly. "Try not to fall in love with me on camera."
I groan, facepalming.
She's never gonna let this go.
