Everyone was called for an assembly suddenly, I had a basic idea of what it was for but who can predict how things would go in here anyways
I stood in line, behind Jiwoo and Heewon, there wasn't any need to listen closely to understand what the chattering was about anyways
But seriously? Infront of everyone? Square in his face? Now that is something I wanted to see
It took everything in me not to burst out laughing then and there, just by thinking about it
"hey... Do you think he'll be okay?" Heewon put a hand on Jiwoo's shoulder with a worried expression before Jiwoo let out a sigh
"geez. This is making me speechless"
Suddenly as if on cue, they both turned towards me, making your eyes widen in surprise before I awkwardly offered a smile
"yes?"
"y/n, what will Hanwool do?"
I let out a sigh at that question, it was somehow the most basic but also complicated
His actions were predictable, he was going to go after Gamin, but even after years of being next to him, I never knew what exactly he was going to do
"well.... I'll be honest with you, im as clueless as both of you are"
The three of us let out a sigh similar to a tired mother, making the others look our side with a weirded out expression
Soon enough the assembly started as the bald man did some mic testing
"so students, let me ask you..... Does anyone here plan on becoming a gangster in the future?"
"pfft-"
I quickly covered up your slip with a cough as other students glanced your side
With my hands crossed below my chest, i frowned at the man on the stage with a shinning head directly hating on our beautiful goddess (Ms Lee)
He was making her the center of everyone's frustration, a target to be specific
for what? To drive her out? Withdraw the petition? Leave Hanwool alone?
I let out, once again, another sigh as I stared at Ms Lee's startled face
What went wrong really? Mrs Oh.... I remember the impact she had on Hanwool, it was almost hard to believe he could soften up like that
If only he didn't interfere
I shook my head, snapping out of my thoughts before looking at the stage again
It wasn't hard to notice that she was nervous, her stuttering gave it away easily
As the students next to me joined innthe degrading, i side glared at them, making them immediately stop
"i dont know why i suddenly felt like i should stop shouting!"
"me too!"
