The examinees were ready to see what the rewards were, meanwhile some invigilators were wondering what they were going to see next as it was obvious that this is starting to get to the present.
The screen lighted up and everyone turned to watch, this time more excited than before, though there were still people that were thinking that the bald man was still alive and that was probably the punishment.
There were a total of four questions in this exam:
(1) Unknown (5 points)
(2) Unknown (5 points)
(3) The number of people having the meal changing from 13 to 12 (6 points)
(4) Finding the cursed tableware (8 points)
Under normal circumstances, the total score for this exam was 24 points. In special circumstances, there were opportunities to earn bonus points or have points demerited.- What are the two unknowns? - an examinee asked.
- I suppose that when they wrote 'Answer' and the refraction index together with the graph. - an invigilator replied.
- Isn't the third question worrying? - an examinee commented. - Doesn't it mean that the system wants someone to die to give points?
- I don't know why you are surprised. I thought it was clearly obvious that the system is psychotic. - another examinee replied.
- I think I just didn't want to believe that it will give points for someone dying. - the examinee said dejectedly.
With the appearance of new content on the answer wall, everyone started to whisper quietly to each other.
"There are two unknown questions at the beginning?"
"Yeah, the moment we started the exam we went straight into earning points for the third question. We must've skipped over the first two questions."
"No, the first points we got was from 'Answer'."
"........."- If you think about it, it's a bit unfair that the two first questions are unknown. That means that we can't really win all of the points without knowing. - an examinee from a first exam commented.
- Not that unfair. You have just done an exam, right? - the examinee nods. - Some of exams moving forward don't have any explicit questions. - another examinee replied.
- I think someone said it before, but what does that exactly mean? - the examinee asked.
- It means that the system wants you to do something instead of answering questions. - an invigilator explained.
- What kind of things? - Yu Wen asked confused, he had been listening as they too are first exam takers, so he wanted to have some information on future exam, something that his cousin would do too.
- You will see, I think he won't be able to answer your question. - Z interjected.
- Oh, the spoilers ban... - Yu Wen sounded dejected.
"Look at that sequence. The two points from 'Answer' is probably part of the unknown questions."
"The points sister Yu Yao and I got probably also are counted as part of the unknown questions."
"So, the first two questions were just a starter?"
"Could it have been triggered by the Hunter?"
"Maybe. Anyway, I don't want to know."The accidental death of Hunter A had resulted in the two questions to be missed and the answer would now always be unknown.
The total points from those two questions added up to ten points. It accounted for a lot, but no one felt regretful.- You still talk about it as if it was accidental. - an invigilator pointed out.
- It technically was an accident. There was no way for my nephew to know that the rules applied to the NPCs too. - Old Yu defended You Huo.
