"Shit," she muttered, biting her bottom lip.
"That's it." Grace looked over when she heard Adelaide's voice and found her gathering the guns she had brought with her. "They need help. I'm going."
"I should go," Wanda contradicted, and Adelaide shook her head. "No offense, Addy, but I'm stronger than you."
She nodded. "Exactly. Which is why you need to stay here," she said, gesturing around the room. "As soon as that stone's out of Vision's head, you need to destroy it. How are you gonna do that if you're down there?"
"Addy—"
"I'm going," she said with a finality. "And you're staying here. Protect everybody here." She turned around, pushing through the doors. "Frankly, I'm in the mood to hurt some people."
"Addy!"
The blonde let out a huff and turned around. "If you're about to tell me that I need to be staying here, then—"
Adelaide was abruptly cut off when Grace hugged her tightly. "Be careful," she whispered into her ear, and the blonde wrapped her arms around her just as tightly. "Come back."
She nodded. "I will," she promised, pulling away. She glanced back at Grace before running out of the hallway.
Grace let out a breath and walked back into Shuri's lab, pausing in the doorway. "Oh, you have got to be—Where's Wanda?"

Steve looked to his right and saw Adelaide throwing a knife into the soldier's head. He dropped dead next to Steve, and he glanced down at the body. "What are you doing here?" he asked with a small sigh.
"I think the words you're looking for are 'thank you, Addy, for saving me from a deranged soldier from outer space,'" she said, frowning at him. She paused at the dead soldier's body and took back her knife, grimacing at the blue blood. "Ew."
"You were staying up there with Grace and Vision," he replied, and she shrugged.
"You guys were having all the fun down here," she said, kicking another soldier in the stomach. "Besides, Wanda is still up there."
"Wanda is over there," Pietro told her, and she followed his gaze, seeing the redheaded witch fighting with Natasha and Okoye. "So... who's up there with the others?"
She sucked in a breath. "I mean, the Wakandan soldiers are still there," she replied with a shrug. "They're tasked with protecting Shuri."
Grace turned her head sharply when she heard a Wakandan soldier shout. One of Thanos's soldiers was coming into the room, and she glanced at Vision. "Are you close at all?" she asked Shuri desperately, keeping a watch on the fight happening in the corner of her eye. "Please say yes."
"I'm trying!" she exclaimed, hurriedly continuing her work while Vision gasped at the sounds echoing in the room.
Grace saw a member of the Dora Milaje fall to the ground, and she turned around, facing Thanos' soldier. Her hand found the first thing she could touch, which thankfully was a gun, and she fired directly at the soldier. Unfortunately, the bullets only fell against him, and she was pushed back. The Dora Milaje threw her dagger at the soldier, which he caught, and the three of them, the Dora Milaje, Shuri, and Grace, fell through the window to where Vision was lying.
The soldier looked down at the table, which was empty. Grace groaned and rolled onto her stomach, looking up just as Vision attacked the soldier and fell through the window and out the building.
