The new girl in town (Nicky Harper x reader)

Few fours later

It's now 1:00 in the morning and everyone is already sleeping with their empty cups but I haven't been able to get some sleep at all because of the whole time. I couldn't believe everything my mom said to me about my dad and saying that I'm just like him is so unbelievable that I wanted to yell at her for saying that but I couldn't do it. I looked over to my siblings and Nora just peacefully sleeping while I can't even sleep because of everything that I didn't want to stay in the house so I decided to be out of the house. I carefully took my blanket off of me and quietly get off the couch without waking anyone up then went upstairs and went to my room. I grab my duffel bag and put anything I needed in there while my phone was being charged by my night stand. After I finish packing it, I grab my phone and started to think where to go to be away from my house.

The thought of everything that happened kept repeating in my head that I couldn't help but let some tears come out. It was too much for me to handle that I didn't know what to do or where to go until I thought of where to go and decided to call the number. As I called the number, I was worried about if they're going to answer at this late of night but they did.

"Hello?" I was glad that the person answered.

"Hey dawn. I want to ask you something" I continued as I was wiping the tears away.

Dawn POV

I was sleeping in my room until I heard my phone ringing, I couldn't see who was it because how late it is and I was too tired to check to see who's calling me so I answered it.

"Hello?" I said as I was rubbing my eyes

"Hey dawn. I want to ask you something" I recognize the voice that I shot up from my bed and check the content. It was y/n.

"Y/n? What's wrong? Are you ok?" I asked all worried since I didn't expect anything to hear from her.

"Umm so I just...." She sounds really upset by how she was trying to talk. "I got into an argument with my mom" She told me the whole on what happened when she got home from her fun day. "I know it's really late but. Can I.. stay at your house for a while cause I don't want to be here right now and I can't stop thinking about what happened." I heard y/n slowly breaking down in tears that I had to let her come over.

"Yea come over right now and tell me what happened when you get here and go through the front door too" I get my blanket off of me and run downstairs.

"Thanks Dawn, I'll be there in a bit" We hang up the phone and I unlock the front door.

"Dawn what's going on?" I looked over to see my brothers standing by the stairs.

"I just got a call from y/n and it's not good" I walk to the couch and sat on it as my brother walks up to me.

"What happened? Is she okay?" Nicky was the only one who seems worried about her.

"She got into an argument with her mom and her mom said some horrible things about her dad that made her upset that she wanted to be away" The way my brothers was feeling bad for her like how I'm feeling. "So she asked if she can come over so she can be away from her home and I said she can" Someone knocked the door and I knew who it was. Ricky went to answer it and it was her.

"H-hey guys" I can tell she was crying because of her eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" I walk up to her and let her in.

"Honestly not really, my mom really hurt me and she left the house so I don't know where's she's at" I set her down on the couch and I sat next to her to comfort her. "She shouldn't even be driving too since she's drunk. I'm worried about her"
