Part 4: training

It was calm day and so to burn through the time I trained longer and harder to get my strength I had before though I do admit it met be dangerous if I keep up this level of training.

But after my training I noticed a carriage with a weird looking lizard and a butler talking with Subaru

I walked up to butter and Subaru not really interested in the conversation but this lizard just kept giving me a weird vibe.

Ragna: "hey so what kind of lizard is that on the front of this carriage?" I asked the butler

Butler: "oh this is a dragon—"

Not giving a second I summoned a sliver sword and was about to turn it into shreds.

Subaru: "ho-hold on Ragna! It's harmless!" Subaru yelled

I stopped my sword swing midway causing a large gust of wind to sweep the area. I only stopped because I didn't want Subaru to die since I wouldn't know how far back in time he would go.

Subaru: "sorry about this wilhelm! This guy just hates dragons since he's a dragon hunter!"

Wil: "a dragon hunter?"

Subaru managed to calm Ragna down but even then Ragna was still and just stared at the dragon with an obvious aura of hate that the dragon was literally sweating.

Not long after a person with cat like appearance named ferris came by and they left.

Subaru: "what's up with you? You almost just killed their ride?!"

Ragna: "a dragon is a dragon no matter what they are all evil."

Subaru: "maybe from where you are from but here most of them are just like horses!"

Ragna: "and that's what threw me off...a dragon simply used for transportation is crazy."

After Ragna just went silent it was like his whole world just disappeared. But at the same time Ragna did find it amusing. Dragons a noble race reduced to a mere transportation animal. Even had the thought that he did use crimson as basically a was to get transportation

(With wilhelm and ferris)

Ferris: "I saw you talking to those two I'm surprised you were?"

Wil: "they were interesting the one named Subaru  had the eyes of being at deaths door while the other..."

Ferris: "the other what? The one with white hair? I could feel and great amount of hatred when I stepped out of the building and noticed it was all coming from him."

Wil: "yes him Subaru called him Ragna. And his eyes were calm and collected as if he was a master but the moment I mentioned this carriage was pulled by a dragon his eyes were filled with so much hate and anger...it shocked me quite a bit."

Ferris: "was it really that much to shock even you old man wil?"

Wil: "well I feel like anyone would if they were unprepared."

After some time after the guest left roswaal come up personally to me.

Roswaal: "so Ragna what do you think about being a body guard for this mansion?"

The offer wasn't bad and I would get paid for just standing still and just training.

It wasn't bad at all so I accepted the deal. After roswaal showed me where I would mostly stand guard and where I should check frequently.

And after I was left alone so taking advantage of the time I was simply controlling my aura I did this for a bit until I noticed puck and Emilia

Ragna: "hello again."

Emilia: "hello Ragna it seems you are fitting in quite well."

Ragna: "well it's not hard I'm just sitting and maybe checking places from time to time."

Emilia: "well when you put it like that it does sound easy. But you have to be strong to be guard and not everyone can be strong."

Ragna: "do you think I was born strong?"

Emilia: "well some earn that strength and well you are quite young you seem younger then me...what how old are you?"

Ragna: "like 16 or 17"

Emilia: "wow you are younger than me."

The wind was light as the conversation grew silent before Emilia sprang up another conversation.

Emilia: "me and Subaru are going to the kingdom would you like to come?"

Ragna: "no I get sick when I'm big crowds." Ragna responded not even the tiniest bit interested.

Emilia: "that's a shame it would be good to explore the town since you haven't been there before."

Ragna: "well have fun."

Emilia: "well it's more Subaru then anything he really wanted to go and roswaal even supported it."

Ragna: "I see...I just have one request."

Emilia: "what is it?"

Ragna: "can you bring me back some apples?"

Emilia: "apples? Oh you mean appa! I guess back where you are from they called it something different huh?"

Ragna: "yeah 'back' where I'm from it's called apples."

The conversation ended there and after they both came back Subaru handed me 4 apples or rather appa I guess. And then the next day roswaal and Emilia went down to the kingdom for some type of election thingy and Subaru then chased after her 2 hours later.

Ragna: "Subaru sure is obsessed with her. Kinda reminds of lese when she was obsessed with me as well."

It was then ram come up and tapped my shoulder.

Ram: "it's lunch time you go eat."

Ragna: "alright thanks for letting me know."

Ram: "hey do you think Subaru will do something dumb?"

Ragna: "maybe I have a feeling he might."

Ram: "yes I have the same feeling."
