Chapter 4: Scourge

Start from the beginning

Orion Eclipse, still young and eager to prove himself, stood tall, fists clenched. His optics burned with determination. "I'll do whatever it takes, Father. I want to see the Autobots crushed beneath the weight of your vision."

Vespera, more reserved than her brother but no less fierce, nodded in quiet agreement. "We'll make them pay, Father. For everything."

Megatron's optics flashed with pride, the thought of his family—his true Decepticon family—becoming the pillars of power that would dismantle the Autobots. "Yes. Together, we will bring Cybertron back to its rightful glory. We will rid this world of the pitiful ideals of the Autobots and build something that stands strong."

Before Megatron could say anything more, the sudden, shrill sound of the alarm cut through the silence of the chamber. It was the unmistakable signal of an intrusion.

"Air raid detected! All units to defensive positions!"

Orion Eclipse's body tensed as he shot a glance toward the door. "What's happening, Father?"

Megatron's expression hardened as the base's alarms blared around them. "It seems we have an unwelcome guest. Stay close."

Megatron stood, his towering figure commanding attention. He gave Orion Eclipse and Vespera one last look before turning toward the main entrance. His mind instantly began calculating the threat—Autobot or rogue Decepticons. Either way, they would regret coming here.

The Decepticon soldiers were already scrambling to defensive positions, their rifles raised and aimed. The air crackled with tension as Megatron reached the front lines, looking toward the main gates where an intruder was approaching. The ground forces were already preparing. Turrets hummed, and weaponry locked into place.

"You have a lot of nerve coming here, Prime!" Megatron's voice rang out, full of venom and authority. His voice carried through the distance, intent on intimidating whoever dared to approach the Decepticon stronghold.

There was silence for a moment before a dark, chilling voice responded, causing a strange sensation of dread to creep down Megatron's spine.

"You call me a Prime after you killed me? Well, ain't that just fine?"

The voice—cold, mocking, and strangely familiar—sent an involuntary shiver through Megatron's frame. A Decepticon soldier rushed forward, breathless.

"My lord! It's... it's one bot! He's taken out most of our Seekers and is heading for the gates!"

The soldier's voice trembled in fear, and Megatron's optics flickered. He could hear the unmistakable sound of the gates being blasted open, the ground shaking as the intruder made his presence known.

"Fire!" Megatron barked, his voice commanding the soldiers to open fire.

Dozens of guns roared to life, but the shots barely made a dent. The mysterious figure walked through the barrage as if he were an unstoppable force.

The soldiers paused in confusion, and the air seemed to freeze at that moment. Megatron's optics narrowed, his mind racing. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

A shadow emerged from the smoke and dust, tall and menacing, his armor a dark purple with red streaks—but his voice, his face was all too familiar, yet twisted.

"Sentinel?" Megatron whispered, disbelief seeping into his voice.

It was impossible. He had killed him—hadn't he?

But as the figure stepped forward, the familiar shape of the mech became clearer. It wasn't Sentinel. It was someone else—someone who seemed to carry his legacy but with a darker twist.
