Savanaclaw Dorm

Jack walked into the lounge, rubbing the back of his head. "The headmage told me to watch over this tsum 'til he finds a way to send it back home, so I brought it to the dorm, but man..." he sighed

"Cater-senpai's tsum is so well-behaved and lets him hold it" He muttered, glancing at his own tsum. "But this guy won't let anyone touch it at all, except (y/n). It just does its own thing. Even getting it through the mirror was a hassle. Why's it gotta be so prickly? I got saddled with a real pain in the neck, just 'cause it happens to look like me. But it also tries to keep up with me on my morning runs. I can't make heads or tails of this thing... Hm?"

From the corner of his eye, Jack noticed a group of dormmates huddled together their voices unusually distressed. Curious, he walked over with his tsum following him. "Morning, guys. Aren't you up early"

"Augh... Housewarden..." One student sniffled

"What are we supposed to do now?" Another whimpered

Jack blinked, confused. "Wha... Why are you all crying?"

"I can't believe this happened to Leona..." Ruggie cried dramatically

"You're upset too, Ruggie-senpai? What's going on? What's wrong with Leona-senpai?!" Jack asked, concern creeping into his voice.

"Jack, you won't believe it! Leona... He's..." Ruggie squeezed his eyes shut, his voice shaking. "HE'S TURNED INTO SOME WEIRD, ADORABLE CREATURE!"

"Huh? Wait a minute..." Jack turned his head, only to see Leona-tsum sleeping soundly on the couch.

"Today's our dorm's big cleaning day, so I got up early for it. That's when I found Leona like this, all belly-up on the floor in front of his room" Ruggie began, shaking his head. "Maybe he drank some strange transformation potion. He was fine the last time I saw him yesterday! Just lettin' out a huge yawn like usual. To think that lazy expression was the last look of his I'd ever see... Oh, it's too much!" He dramatically wiped his eyes, clutching the tsum like it was a fallen comrade.

"IT'S SO TRAGIC!" The other Savanaclaw students wailed

Jack sweatdropped. He had no idea how to handle this level of nonsense.

"How stupid can you guys get?" an irritated voice cut through the commotion.

The room fell silent

"LEONA?!" Ruggie yelped, nearly dropping the tsum. "You're okay?! Then what is this thing?" He raised the tsum up, baffled.

Leona pinched the bridge of his nose. "Didn't ANY of you see my Magicam post last night?"

Ruggie scratched the back of his head, "Well, no... We all turned in early so we could get a head start on today, and then we were too busy panicking."

Leona exhaled sharply, clearly exasperated. "Can't believe this little guy just came waltzin' up to my room. Ugh... Jack, you give 'em the rundown on the tsums"

"Yessir" Jack nodded

"Sheesh. This thing's already givin' me a headache. Just great." Leona rolled his eyes and turned to leave. "I'm goin' out"

"Whoa!" Ruggie yelped as Leona-tsum slipped out of his arms and bounced after Leona. "The little guy just slipped outta my arms and went after Leona... It was just lying there before, but now it's bouncing around... Maybe it likes Leona?"

"It doesn't look all that interested to me-they're not even facing each other. Hard to imagine what they'd do together..." Jack said

Ruggie then noticed the tsum next to Jack. "Hey, you've got one of those little doppelgangers with you too. What's the deal?"
