Tatiana sat in silence, idly fiddling with the gold rings on her fingers as the limo rumbled forward. Across from her, Mal was grumpily staring, arms crossed like she was plotting something. Typical.

Meanwhile, the boys had discovered the food compartments.

Carlos and Jay practically dove into the brightly colored snacks, stuffing their faces with anything they could grab. Carlos had some kind of sweet-smelling brown stuff smeared around his mouth, grinning like a kid on their birthday.

Evie, clearly tired of the awkward silence, pulled out a compact mirror from her bag. She tapped a homemade blush onto a brush and gently swept it across Mal's cheek.

Mal scowled and pushed her away. "Stop it. I'm plotting."

Evie sighed dramatically. "It's not very attractive, you know," she said in her usual bubbly tone, dabbing her own cheeks instead.

Tatiana barely paid attention, her focus shifting to the window. Something felt... off.

Her brows furrowed as she watched the road ahead. The limo wasn't slowing down. And worse—it was heading straight for the water.

Her eyes widened. "Uh—"

Carlos screamed.

Jay cursed.

Everyone grabbed onto each other in pure panic, yelling about how they were going to die.

Carlos and Evie practically launched themselves at Tatiana, clinging onto her like she was their last hope. She groaned in annoyance, bracing for impact—

Except the crash never came.

Instead, a shimmering golden bridge appeared beneath them, glowing as the limo smoothly crossed over the water toward Auradon.

The group awkwardly peeled themselves off Tatiana, shifting back to their seats.

Carlos blinked. "Did we just—?"

Jay let out a low whistle. "Magic."

Tatiana simply huffed, adjusting her jewelry. "Could've given a warning."

But even she couldn't deny it—this was the most magic any of them had ever seen.

And it was just the beginning.

The ride felt endless.

Tatiana leaned her head against the cool window, fingers absently twisting one of her gold rings. The sound of Carlos and Jay stuffing their faces with whatever food they could find was grating. The loud chewing, the crinkling wrappers—it was making her eye twitch.

This is hell.

She exhaled sharply through her nose, pressing her lips together in frustration. The boys, oblivious to her suffering, continued their feast, shoving more sweets into their mouths like they'd never eaten before. Which, to be fair, wasn't far from the truth.
