Story Snippets

(A.N: I don't have an actual title, I just put the same thing for this as I did for this story in my writing ideas story)

SCENE ONE:

"How do you keep getting yourself into these messes? That's the sixth time in the past four days I've had to save you from the super villains! You need to be more careful." Starstorm says.

"Again, YOU DON'T HAVE- Oh, great, you flew away again." I say exasperated.

SCENE TWO:

"That's what, the 39th time one of the supers has brought you home this month, right? You would've thought that after the first month, you would've been more discreet and after the second month, they would've figured out you were friends with them even though you're not a villain." My sister says as I walk in the door, glancing up for a few seconds, then gluing her eyes to her phone again.

"It's around the 39th time this month, yeah, and I WAS more  discreet after the first month, they were just more alert, but I agree with you. It's shocking the heroes haven't caught on." I reply, rolling my eyes.

SCENE THREE:

"How many times have they 'saved' you from us now?" Shadow asks.

"Depends on whether you mean total or within the past month. Total, it's been over 350 times, and they've 'saved' me around 35 times in the past month." I reply.

Shadow whistles. "And they still haven't paused long enough for you to tell them you don't need to be saved, that we're your friends? They're not very good at listening are they?"

"No, they are not. I mean, the only one of you I really need saving from is Chaos, and that's only if I'm alone with her."

Shadow chuckles. "Her obsession with you is kinda funny, though."

"Yeah, no. She strikes me as the possessive type. I think that if I ever dated someone other than her, she'd either kill ME so that if she couldn't have me, nobody could, or she'd kill whoever I was dating in a fit of jealous rage. I just hope that she realizes I don't like her like that and moves on."
