The wedding was done.
Vows exchanged. Papers signed. Promises made—none of them mine.
And now, as planned, Blaisy and Kiki were moving into my mansion.
At least until the child was born.
I told myself it was logical. Practical. That I wanted to keep an eye on her during the pregnancy.

I pushed open the door to the master bedroom—the one I’d given Blaisy. It was on the ground floor, spacious, luxurious, everything a woman like her could want. A perfect distraction.

The moment I stepped inside, I saw her—perched on the edge of the bed, wrapped in red silk and lace, her legs crossed, a glass of wine in her hand.
