Rikki woke up multiple times last night, 2 nightmares, and one beautiful dream about Australia. She wished she could move back there. To be fair, New York wasn't so bad. If she could just remove the stupid rich kids and ignorant parents who care more about money than their children, and also just delete the entire upper east side then it wouldn't be so bad. She looks over at her phone, reading the Gossip Girl post.
'Rise and shine, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl here. Last night was nothing short of chaos, and now our beloved students must face the aftermath. Word on the street? New girl: Vanderweer has officially tied the ropes and landed right in the middle of it all. A Chuck Bass vs. Lonely Boy showdown? Oh, the scandal. My sources say it wasn't pleasing. How will they recover? Stay tuned. XOXO, Gossip Girl.'
"No one gives a fuck. My god." She mutters. Rikki then looks over at the time. She forgot that she has another day planned ahead of her. Turning off her phone, She strides downstairs, almost tripping halfway because of her putting her sandals on the wrong foot.
She runs to the kitchen, looking for the food that the maids usually put up on the table. But this time there wasn't anything, did they get tired of their job and quit? Or did Rikki's mother fire them because they couldn't handle her ridiculous continuous requests? She thought.
The elevator dings, footsteps coming towards the kitchen, as Rikki takes a turn to see who it is, it's her mother's assistant. "Your mother wanted me to inform you that you will be attending the brunch today, but first you'll be heading over to the Van der Woodsens." Her assistant said out loud, Rikki groaned out loud, she was tired of attending numerous events. Australia wasn't like this, she could go outside without having to socialize with people everyday.
"Fine." Rikki says in a cold tone, heading back upstairs to change her clothes.

As soon as she stepped out of the limo, Rikki spotted three guys outside the building. She instantly recognized one, horrid haircut guy. The brunette beside him? Nate Archibald. The tension between them was obvious, Nate standing between Chuck and Dan as they glared at each other, still pissed about last night. Rikki strolled up to them, watching the standoff with thinly veiled amusement.
Nate was the first to notice her. Their eyes met, and he visibly relaxed, his lips curling into a small smile. Before he could say anything, Chuck's voice cut through the moment.
"This isn't over," he snapped at Dan. "Hey, anytime, man. That one black eye looks a little lonely," Dan shot back.
Rikki laughed at that, pulling off her sunglasses as she stepped closer. "You're the guy I knocked out at the airport," she said, looking directly at Dan. He jumped slightly, finally noticing her. "You're... the girl who literally almost killed me." His eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here?"
