Captain

A/N: At one point I wanted to continue this book and make it into a trilogy, having the second book cover Age of Ultron and Civil War, and the third book would have covered Endgame. I don't have the time to put as much effort as I would like into this story anymore. However, I have a back log of (as the title suggests) outtakes, scrapped storylines, and fun "blooper" stories that were all meant for this series but never got to see the light of day. With that being said from this point on I'll be posting one of these a week here on this book. They'll be in chronological order to when they were supposed to happen along the MCU timeline. Here is a fun one to start you off!

Classification: Blooper

Explanation: It's (Y/N)'s 27th birthday and Steve gets her an *cute* present. I think this was supposed to be set right before she is kidnapped by Hydra in part 8, but, I wrote it so long ago I don't remember exactly what I had in mind. P.S. sorry for the pov, this was before I decided to make it first person. 

It was your birthday and you were turning 27 today. You didn't have anything planned but you suspected Steve had something up his sleeve. He'd been acting weird recently so you assumed it was your ever-nearing birthday, he wouldn't even let you come to the Avengers tower for movie night three days ago. You decided you wouldn't look into it, you never had been one to snoop.

So today you went shopping with your friend (y/f/n). You met her at a shop near Central Park.

"Hey (y/n)!" She exclaimed, "I haven't seen you in forever."

"Yeah, it's been a while," you hugged her happy to see her.

"So birthday girl, you still seeing that guy you told me about at Christmas?" She asked pushing through the doors.

"That guy's name is Steve, and yes we are in a great relationship," you smiled. "I think he is throwing a surprise party for me tonight."

"Awesome, I guess we should start shopping now so we don't take all day," she giggled.

Y'all walked out of the shop to y'all's cars and set your stuff in them. You didn't get much, a pair of jeans and a couple of shirts. You had just shut your trunk when your phone started ringing and (y/f/n) ran over to you to see who it was.

"Is that him?" She whispered. You nodded as you answered.

"Hello." You spoke through the phone.

"Hey darling, I was thinking since it's your birthday we would have a little birthday dinner at the tower." He sounded nervous.

"That sounds great," you looked over to (y/f/n) to see if she would like to come, she nodded. "I'm bringing my friend if that's ok with you."

"Oh yeah bring whoever you want," he replied, "I mean it's your birthday."

"Ok that sounds good, see you then."

"Love you by-"

"Wait! What time?"

"6:30"

"Ok thank you, love you bye." You ended the call smiling. "So meet me at my apartment at six and I'll drive us over, ok," you looked at (y/f/n) who had a gigantic smile.

"Ok," she opened her car door, "bye." You waved bye and stepped into your car, then drove off.

You were all ready when you heard (y/f/n) knock at the door.

"Hey, you ready?" She asked.

"Yeah," you locked the door and headed to the elevator.

"You look rocking in those pants by the way," (f/n) complemented as you got in your car and smiled in thanks.

"So what does Steve do for a living?" (F/n) asked. You hadn't told her who Steve really was and you kinda wanted to see her reaction.

"You'll see when we get in there," you teased as you pulled up to the tower.

"Why are we stopping here?" She was very confused. You got out of the car and headed toward the door. "(Y/n)," she whispered, "what are you doing? This is the Avengers tower."

"Yeah, I know. Steve stays here sometimes," you smiled. Her face was priceless when she realized.

"He is Steve ... America?" You laughed at her.

"Yeah Steve America," you laughed sarcastically.

"You know what I mean," she hit your arm, "Steve Rogers! Capitan America!" You walked into the lobby laughing, then to the elevator and pressed the button of the floor. "Wow (Y/n) you hit the jackpot with this one didn't you." Finally, you reached the floor and headed to the living room.

"SURPRISE!" The team yelled as you walked in.

"Aw guys you didn't have to do this," you looked around at the decorated room. "Thank y'all so much," you hugged each of them and got a kiss from Steve.

"Who is this," Tony gestured to your friend.

"Guys this is (f/n), and (f/n) this is Tony, Natasha, Clint, Thor, Bruce, and Steve," you introduced them as (f/n) fainted on the floor.

"It is so nice to meet you guys," she stumbled over her words in excitement. Y'all ate dinner and cake then sat on the couch and just talked for a while. Steve got up to grab something from his room but it was taking him a long time.

"Steve is taking a long time, should I go help him?" You ask the group.

"No no no no!" Tony stood up in front of you, "He's fine."

"Okay," you said suspiciously. A few moments later Steve walked in with a good-sized box with a bow on it. "Steve," you looked at him surprised, "I told you not to get me anything." You wracked your brain for any possible thing it could be.

"I know, but it's something you've wanted for a long time," he had a huge grin on his face as he set the box down in front of you. You pulled the bow away then lifted the top and never in a million years would you have guessed what was in the there.

"A puppy!" You picked up the little golden retriever as it licked your face. "Oh my goodness you're kidding," you sat on the ground playing with the puppy as you looked up at Steve. He sat down next to you then you gave him the biggest hug you could and a kiss. "Thank you so much."

"Is it a boy or a girl?" (F/n) asked.

"It's a girl and her name is Bailey," Steve announced as he let the little dog.

"She's a hand full," Tony added smirking.

"But she's the best puppy ever," you said in a funny voice and you rubbed her neck.

The rest of the night y'all played with the puppy and talked. Finally, it was time for you to go home but you left Bailey at the tower because the already had food and stuff. You couldn't stop thanking Steve and telling him how much you loved him and Bailey. You got home and took (f/n) to her car.

"Do you think he's the one," she asked to with a serious expression painted on her face.

"Yes a million times yes," you smiled as did she.

"Y'all are too cute."

Meanwhile at Avengers tower

"Tony?" Steve looked over at the man stuffing cake in his face, "I think she's the one." Tony nearly choked on his cake.

"Me too Cap," he said as he swallowed the cake and smiled. "I never thought I would hear you say those words."
